Is the shin bone connected to the knee bone and the knee bone connected to the thigh bone
I think that’s the sesamoid? Same as Scharenberg and Thomas.
True, but I’m not sure Shifter is the poster boy of using correct medical terminology either.Clancy Dennis’ injury was described by Shifter as an ankle injury, so it’s not navicular or sesamoid if he’s to be believed.

Of course we’d have bid. You don’t know if you don’t try.I doubt we would of Bid IF we thought they where going to Match
Make Leppa look like a Lyer after the Interview after the Draft Saying they thought Swans would Pass and that why we put a Bid on him
Yeah, people massively overthink the thought process of the bidding process.Of course we’d have bid. You don’t know if you don’t try.
Then who we taken at 50 in the Scenario?Yeah, people massively overthink the thought process of the bidding process.
If he's on top of your board, you bid.
If they match, you move to the next player on your board.
If they don't, you just drafted the player on top of your board, and as a bonus, it's someone you probably presumed you wouldn't get access to, so your draft pool just got bigger.
Presuming that neither Luca Greggo or Cooper Bell (the two players drafted in between our picks) were on our board in between where we had Cochran and where we had West, it's pretty safe to assume that had Sydney matched our bid for Cochran, we would then have drafted Charlie West in that spot.
Impossible to know what the strategy would've been Dave - Maybe Will Hayes was genuinely the next player on the board, and they would have taken him there, or maybe the strategy was two talls with the first two picks and then the best small with the 3rd.Then who we taken at 50 in the Scenario?
Disappointing compared to last year, as we get no new information about other names we were considering at any of the picks.Draft night: The inside story of Pies’ 2024 haul
With the likes of academy selections, bids, trading up, and a host of complexities meaning nothing is assured in the 2024 reality of securing the nation’s best talent, go inside Collingwood's draft bunker as the Pies pick up three new players.www.collingwoodfc.com.au

They're obviously not legally barred from saying anything, TD. Last year they mentioned that they wanted to trade up for Logan Morris and Archer Reid but weren't able to, and that they were interested in Riley Hardeman, Ollie Murphy and Arie Schoenmaker at the picks they took.Don't think they are Legally allowed to say them and don't want any Negative things towards the People who where on the Board who where not Picked at all
Well I’m glad I wasn’t going crazy when I said that our recruiters looked shocked when we got Cochran.Draft night: The inside story of Pies’ 2024 haul

Yeah you would not been happy to hear that they where High on Draft Board but was not PickedYou might be onto something about not mentioning if they were considering drafting players who didn't end up getting drafted, as it only would've added to the heartache for those guys.
Adrian Cole is a player worth looking at if we need to find another tall back at some point.Impossible to know what the strategy would've been Dave - Maybe Will Hayes was genuinely the next player on the board, and they would have taken him there, or maybe the strategy was two talls with the first two picks and then the best small with the 3rd.
In either case, we have no idea who would've been next on the board - If we wanted another tall defender, Cal Twomey also linked us to Riak Andrew or Adrian Cole (who didn't get bid on or picked up by St Kilda in any capacity), and also mentioned Lachlan Voss and Clancy Dennis, who also didn't get drafted at all.
Given that Twomey also had us linked to West and Cochran, but not to Hayes, I think it's fair to say Hayes was the Hine-special smokey, and that maybe someone from that list of talls would've been the next pick at #50 if Sydney had matched on Cochran.
