Williams is on superstar money but produces below-average output for his position.
Owies has a similar per-game output with the added benefit of having a body capable of playing 20+ games.

He had a good season this year though.
He may be more durable playing in the f50?

If we are calling his season this year good, then he doesn’t offer much.
12 possessions per game across the season, just over 2 tackles per game and 15 goals for the year.
For a first or second year draftee it’s a good year, for a player in his 11th season on $900,000 it’s terrible.

Agree in terms of overall contributions..
However, when he first moved into f50 he had a a big impact on the f50 dynamics and on the scoreboard. It was his first time playing there. But he does need to work on his defensive work as do the other smalls.
We can still improve our midfield, without trading out any of our midfielders

Bit like Kemp - both had big impacts when they moved but then fell away

Love George and Chugga but if we can improve the list by trading them out, then so be it
If you follow Sydney and Geelong, you rebuild on the run, you walk and chew gum. If you rebuild on the run you don't trade a first for Houston.

Looked like a real small forward - confused us seeing someone rove the front of the pack, find space and have innate goal sense.
Reckon he will be a very important piece & actually enjoy his footy fit and healthy

I think we will see the best of Williams in 2025. A year out from the ACL. I’m a bit worried about our KPF Depth as I don’t think we are a side that can play the way we want to for the whole season without giving a few a rest.
Hopefully with JSOS back going we can rotate around the following forwards;
Curnow/mckay/kemp
Curnow/JSOS/Kemp
Harry/JSOS/Kemp
Obviously depending on the opposition. I’m still not sure what makes a better forward line. In 2024 we went from two monsters to none and arguably looked better with none. It looks like we want to go to 3. But I believe we need kemp pushing out to a wing for it to work while leaving one of Curnow and McKay inside.
