Absolute dream to get Trac. Can't see it happening though.Trac... family and co might be a bit miffed about what resulted this year and with Gawn close to the end and their the Italian in him Lygon St might seem tempting.

God help us if Adam Tomlinson is getting a game at Carlton next yearEvery chance we now look to trade Owies. Unsigned and it doesn’t look like talks are progressing. If he isn’t kicking goals he isn’t doing much and the return for him should be a pick between 30 - 40 imo. Him not being at Carlton in 2025 seems a real possibility. Plus Marchbank, Cuningham and Martin to go.
I’d Trade our 2025 1st for a pick approx 18 this year. Trade our 2025 2nd for a pick approx 35.
That gives us picks:
15ish
18
33 to trade out
34 to trade out
35 to trade out
Having these 5 picks would give the club a great chance to cash in on 2 1st round picks and trade for 3 players.
Give me 1 Darcy Jones type with our 1 of our 1st round picks and the best key back with our 2nd 1st round pick. More scoring avenues with an electric and fast paced mid/fwd and a key back we are screaming out for to develop.
Picks 33, 34 and 35 and maybe more to GWS for Conor Stone and Max Geuzewski. Both imo would be great choices and improve our forward line and midfield.
Take both Campo boys
Take Adam Tomlinson as a DFA to pair with Weitering for a couple of years.
2025 could look like:
B: Newman Weitering Cowan
Hb: Saad Tomlinson McGovern
C: Acres Cripps Walsh
Hf: EHollands Harry JSOS
F: Motlop Charlie Williams
R: TDK Docherty Cerra
Int: Kemp Kennedy, Stone Fogarty
Sub: Hewett
Depth: pick 15, pick 18, Pittonet, OHollands, Gruzewski, Cottrell, Cincotta, Fantasia, Binns, CDurdin, Lemmey, Young, Monaghan, Wilson, Lord, Moir etc
To me, the above side looks extremely strong and more dynamic. And if one of the 1st round picks comes on quickly and adds some explosiveness in the midfield, maybe we look at playing early.
It’s subtle changes and nothing that will push the salary cap too far for much more reward as well as keeping an eye on our future.
Hammill was there with Ratts, before Lyon?Hammill you'd have hoped will have a bit of that intel
Better than Young by a mile and isn’t playing for them as May and Lever are not making way.God help us if Adam Tomlinson is getting a game at Carlton next year
You know the drill when we lose a game we should’ve won suddenly our assistance coaches are to blame…back in the day Johnny Barker was the bogey man for quite a few on here…I don’t get this post. How do you know what their coaching credentials are?
I’d be furious if we trade Owies or Binns for Cordy, and I’d even be pretty bloody annoyed if we trade Carroll for him. Cordy has zero trade value. I’d only consider him as a delisted free agent.I'd consider hitting up SOS for a trade for Zaine Cordy (Owies/Binns/Carrol??). Not getting a consistent look-in at Saints is 27, 195cm tall, premiership player, has been coached by one of the best defensive coaches in the business for 2 seasons and could bring in some of that wisdom (although Hammillyou'd have hoped will have a bit of that intel).
I'd take him over the 3 games we get each year from Marchbank or Durdin.God help us if Adam Tomlinson is getting a game at Carlton next year

scores from defensive stoppages, scores from stoppage clearances etc. defensive pressure from our fwds drop off in areas we should be better atI don’t get this post. How do you know what their coaching credentials are?
Plus Lord needs to be included.3 or 4 draftees and 5 or so mature players of various ages. I think this is roughly where we need to be. Be aggressive trading future picks.
At this stage Pick 1 (whether it's traded or used), Camporeale x2 and Duffy are coming in.
We have 1 pick in round 1, 1 in the 2nd round and 3 in the 4th round.
I think we will need to use free agency to get the influx needed along with trading future picks.
Not sure I could take that stunned mullet look he gives when he gives away a free or gets out done by his opponent.God help us if Adam Tomlinson is getting a game at Carlton next year
Was he not coached by Lyon at some point during his playing days?Hammill was there with Ratts, before Lyon?
Real high bar thereI'd take him over the 3 games we get each year from Marchbank or Durdin.
Hammill retired when Ross arrived (end of 2006), so not at St Kilda. Not to mention that's 20 years ago anyway. Was he not coached by Lyon at some point during his playing days?
I actually had my eyes in Patrick Voss in that regard. Rookie at * before delist and picked up by Freo. Played 3or 4 games as key forward. Very combative and not out of place, but behind Treacy, Amiss and Jackson in pecking order. Not huge, 194/5cm but very athletic. Pretty sure has Free Agent status.Any key forward not getting a game that we could turn into a backman? Seems to be the way to find key defenders these days
Worse things we could do than get in the ear of Fischer McAsey, still so young, back home in Vic now..
He retired? We were after him 2 years ago and then dropped off. Be interesting to know why
Kemp is Mcgovern's 3rd tall interceptor replacement. Kemp is not a KPD. Kemp's a keeper because he is one of our quicker ball moversEither find a new position for Kemp or get rid of him to bring in a 2nd KPD. His defending was Cam Oshea levels tonight
Petracca would cost as much as Cripps. If not more.Absolute dream to get Trac. Can't see it happening though.
