Last game before cricket season! Sydney have been the dominant team all year (save some confusing losses to Richmond and Port) while Brisbane fought back from a bad start to the season to hit the top 4 and then blew it towards the end and have had to get here the hard way.

Both teams loaded with match winners. Will Sydney be sluggish after only two games in a month or will Brisbane be busted after two come from behind wins and a third week of travelling? Both teams will be looking to make amends after recent GF losses.

Who wins? And who is the Norm Smith Medallist?

I'd prefer Brisbane to win but wouldn't be unhappy with the Swans, who I think will do the job. Isaac Heeney for the Smith Medal.

One of those rare Grand Finals where I’d be happy enough to see either side win

Have a slight preference towards Brisbane

Both sides are fun to watch, have coaches who are decent humans and whilst there’s dickheads on each team, it’s at a relative minimum

Hoping for a cracking game that goes down to the wire but I think Sydney win. Just

And please, no umpiring howlers

Preference Brisbane, not fussed though by Sydney. God it feels good to just be able to watch the game for game's sake.

The real point of interest is the Leon Davis medal. Hipwood would be $1.02 odds though Logan McDonald, should he play, could make a run for it. The deep end inclusion of Darcy Fort may also be a calculated bet. Melican's form has been iffy at times so he may be the surprise from the back of the pack.

Seriously, what kind of inspiration does a long neck goose inspire, or a building (opera house), colours are bland, guernsey is meh, and then there's that angry little ant Papley.
But pleased it's a non-vic game. The geese will probably win the chocolates, but go the Lionesses! A close game to the joyous-bitter end please?
