I've got Nuke to Heeney at this stage, but I also feel Nuke will bounce back sooner rather than later. It's a tough one, but I guess we can only go on results so far.

As a Hawks fan, is there going to be much adjustment in the mid soon?
Day still 6ish weeks away right?

Hi all, I've got 3 of my best scorers (Whitfield, Touk, Flanders) with the bye this week. I can loophole on 3 lines for D6/M8/F6 scores, although I can't see any of them being Top18 scores.

Currently ranked 3k can I get away with this lot without losing ground?

IN: Draper, Powell

What was your pre-season plan?

I had Flanders with a plan to hold, and there are no true forward premos you don't already have.
Miller also looks like a long term hold.

Whit - should be top 6 DEF (or close) but there are at least other options, and you wanted to get his price rises after R0, I assume?
So could trade him to another DEF keeper.
Or do you have enough cash for ZWilliams off the bye?

How many Roos players is too much?

For all the people bringing in Powell, you probably have Sheezel, McKercher, Fisher and likely Xerri. Some will also have Lazzaro too......when you bring in Powell, that seems like too many?

Yeah NWM is locked in. Loved him last year and this is a great way to get him.

I contemplated the sideways trade of Whit to NWM with Whit on the bye and not far of max price. (And we know he'll score low/get injured soon so we've gotta be ready for the Yeo/Whit crisis round that will inevitably happen)

Wanganeen-Milera still hasn't had a tackle credited this year, add 1 or two of them and his ceiling could be higher that the 120 he's shown which would have him hit high $900k's or more.

As a Hawks fan, is there going to be much adjustment in the mid soon?

To answer both these questions, most Hawks fans want Hustwaite to come in at the expense of Maginness. If HH does come in and does well, it'd be hard to justify bringing Finn back in just for Daicos.

I don't imagine much else will change in our midfield. Just need our current mids to get their shit together!

You're going to be losing atleast 150 points if you keep them all, Whitfield/Flanders i could see potentially trading but you're just sideway trading at that point, might just have to cop it on the chin.

Unfortunately this is one of the main examples of the early bye affecting people down the line

For all the people bringing in Powell, you probably have Sheezel, McKercher, Fisher and likely Xerri. Some will also have Lazzaro too......when you bring in Powell, that seems like too many?

They have lots of cheap players getting lots of cheap touches, so it depends on when you are planning on trading them out.

I have Xerri, Powell, McKercher and Lazzaro currently and plan or Sheezal soon, but I think Lazzaro has 2 weeks max, Powell and McKercher 4-6, Xerri 6-10.

Hopefully at the end of the byes, Sheezal is the only North player in my team.

Just Sheezel, McKercher & bringing in Powell this week due to role and fits my spend limit.
Punted Fisher into the sun last week.
Xerri & Lazz seem handy options but not for me yet.
There does seem to be quite a bit of value floating around in the Roos team though, we've just got to nail the best value ones I guess.

From a footy perspective, most Adelaide starting CBA's should be
1. Dawson
2. One of Laird/Crouch
3. One of Rachele/Rankine

Both Laird and Crouch in there together makes them too slow (both in terms of pace and ball movement).

I only have Sheezel and McKercher, with Pink on the bench, so adding Powell isn't an overload of blue and white.

My current trades are Young > D'Ambrossio and Sexton > Powell, leaving 287K in the bank.

Targets for coming weeks are Green, Zerrett, Dunkley and Steele, possibly NWM, but I have no real plan on how to get to them.

Sticking with Naicos, Bont and Grundy for now.... Grundy not losing value, 104 from Bont isn't a disaster, and as someone else said earlier, I'm not trading someone who averaged 108 last year on the back of one poor performance, especially as he has a 126 against brisbane at the Gabba last year.

Of course, as usual, when teams come out, this may all change, but at the moment, I'm not used to having no forced changes to my team

But with my set up of 4 mid rooks, I can't afford for my 4 "premo" mids to be giving me putrid scores, so he has to go

That's true if you're looking to upgrade a failed rookie, but those (like myself) that have all their mid or fwd rookies already making money, are now looking at failed or ready to upgrade mid pricers. If Duursma was a Def/Mid, then he would be straight into many more teams looking to offload z Reid or Gibcus.

When I get into situations where I have massive amounts of players that need to go I always trade the highest priced players first. In your case Newc and Young of that lot.
