18 expected points added to the Chiefs in all those games where they ended up winning by one score. And...all the other playoff teams are equally well-coached and disciplined. Those two things stand out as obvious bias and the effect of such bias.

Gotta have content for first take, pti, around the horn etc
Last time they were critical of the league they got the worst MNF schedule in history and spent the next 10 years fixing it.

The more pressure on the refs calling BS to help KC the better because the league might start getting rid of some of thr worst refs. And with skyjudge hopefully coming it would be able to pick up bad flags

Troy Aikman's live reaction to the late slide penalty and then trying to draw the foul running out of bounds probably was the ignition point.

It wasn't salty fans, talking heads on ESPN or Neville Nobody Podcasters...it was a respected HOFer who played the position and won SBs.

Aikman has done it a few times since getting to ESPN. He doesn't give a f**k about protecting the shield. It's refreshing and good to see.

He was like this at Fox the last few years as well - basically since 2016/17. It’s brilliant. Joe and Troy are the best combination in sports and it’s been like that for a long time now

He didn't really enter the full F**k it mode till year 2 at ESPN. There were some moments at Fox where he got sick of saying whatever the league wants people saying.
