They do need to "re-stock" given their departures in Matthew Panos, Alex van Wyk, Luke Surman, Xavier Tranfa, Mitch Carroll, Brodie Carroll, Sam Morris, Henry Nelligan

They say “club”, I’d read into that that it’s not either AFL reserves teams as they’re SANFL teams, not clubs.

Adelaide has recruited Brisbane assistant coach Murray Davis to join in the newly-created role of coaching director as the club looks to better support coach Matthew Nicks next season.

Davis has been with the premiership-winning Lions for the past 13 seasons, recently mentoring Brisbane’s forward line.

In other changes, Matthew Wright has been appointed SANFL senior coach as Michael Godden takes on an AFL development role.

Jared Hoare has joined as the club’s head of fitness and conditioning, most recently working with Australian Super Rugby team, the Melbourne Rebels.

Additionally, Alec Buttfield has been appointed to the role of head of sports science while Josh Manuel has been promoted to head of strength and athletic development.

Rumour has it we offered JL a coaching role + marquee player slot with the SANFL side.

Chose to go play with his brother instead.

Hopefully we keep him in mind for future positions.

Correct. Just got an email. Not sure if its good or bad. Ex premiership player.

After the way he was treated here, I'd have been very surprised if he had wanted to play with us again.
