What do you mean?
His arguement "debunking" that more games will matter..........

'no they dont, it just shifts to x vs y instead of a vs b as a or b now have a safety net below them to let them in'

So, how'd that safety net go for Alabama and Michigan?

Year 1 and his argument from 9 months ago already debunked.

Well how do expect the NFL playoffs to work? Just 8 Div winners where sometimes you get a team or two that can barely get to .500?
I'd rather a 8-9 team NFC South Champ (even if it is the Saints) who's the best of the group that played a similar schedule make it than a 15-2 NFC North side who got swept by a 17-0 NFC North Champ.

It isn't college football where there's massive gulfs in schedules within divisions/conferences (like we see with Indiana getting a cupcake schedule and making it over South Carolina who had a gauntlet) - That's why I've got no problem with at-large in the CFP schedules vary in CF. Though, I do wish they changed the setup to try and stop this shit happening.

But tell me with a straigth face that Green Bay deserve another shot at Detroit when Detroit's already proven they're better.

So Tennessee are going to be slaughtered by the media and should never even think about trying to compete again.
and given they were the lowest ranked loser and lost to the worst ranked team and it was the biggest margin of the weekend it must be 10x what SMU and Indiana got right?

That would only be fair.

I know it wont change but we have to do something about all the TV timeouts and extended ones. its as bad as the NBC games 3.5-4hrs a game

The NFL game kicked off 25mins after the Texas/Clemson game and finished early, its not like the NFL doesnt drag games out with commercial breaks for national games.

But tell me with a straigth face that Green Bay deserve another shot at Detroit when Detroit's already proven they're better.
In ‘99 Jags finished 14-2 both losses coming against Titans who finished 13-3. So Jags did not deserve another shot at the Titans? Btw Titans beat the Jags again in the playoffs

Oregon def Ohio State - Ohio State is inconsistent, they had their good game, now for their sloppy game
Georgia def Notre Dame - Injuries vs Choke, Injuries vs Choke. No matter how banged up Georgia are, Notre Dame will find a way to lose
Texas def Arizona State - It'll be a shootout. But Texas will get a few more stops than Arizona State
Boise State def Penn State - Sure, Boise State have some weaknesses. Lucky Penn State doesn't have the weapons to exploit it. Thank god they knocked off SMU, we match up badly vs them.

Texas def Oregon - IMHO - This is the national championship game. Whether it's Oregon or Ohio State, the winner of that game vs Texas wins it all. And I can't split it. Going Texas beacuse of a feeling.
Boise State def Georgia - Georgia has been flakey all year. Can beat everyone, can lose to everyone. Will they be able to stop the greatest ever RB? Who knows.

Texas def Boise State - Look, unless Arizona State flukes a run, the Oregon/Texas/Ohio State rep is winning it all unless Georgia gets injuries right AND everything clicks. Not even gonna waste my time explaining it. Boise State will have to play the game of their lives to even stick with Oregon again, but the mathcups vs Texas or Ohio State? Not even our best would get that unless they implode. (Though, Texas is known to do that....)
