Spot on gandaal, the hit on McGovern possibly worse than Cripps in that it was intentional. Be interesting to see whether dickhead Christian does anything about it.

Now Melbourne out of finals he’ll be cited 2-3 times.. total of 4 games. If Melbourne were still in finals.. the non Cripps incidents would disappear and he’d have got 1.

3 Observations from last night

You need your wingers to be good contested footballers. Can’t have pure receivers in finals

Melbourne fans are the most ignorant in the comp. Don’t know the rule or who the players are. Really frustrating listening to them.

Game was well umpired. Struggle to think of any howlers from the game. Maybe Motlop when he bounced the ball and was tackled. Clear free. Don’t usually say that when Williamson is up

Having good wingers has made a huge difference to our side.

Acres is near on my favourite player. After his effort this finals series, he can kick every ball out on the full next year.

Wow that's genuinely surprising to me. I listen to a lot of Dwayne's world and he is fairly generous to us, whereas Whatetley usually can't wait to sink the boots in when things are going wrong. Dwayne said way back before we got on our streak, "Carlton will do some damage if they make finals, they have too many weapons". The lines were chockas after that saying he was crazy and a few of the usual insults. Not sure why he was gutted but maybe he likes Melbourne.

Funny thing football, but seeing my son after the final siren literally jump on me like a bear to a tree trunk and nearly put me 3 rows back was heart warming. I like listening to Dwayne and find him usually generous with Carlton callers.
Looking at the footage though, he looked crestfallen.
Maybe it's just botox, or maybe he has 'resting sad face'.

Gerard has been riding the carlton train for awhile now. He actually said sometime back he thought we could make the prelim. ( no doubt he'll roll that footage or audio out)

One take away for me was how poor the dees supporter turn out was, at the game you could barely hear /see them. There was a few bays and a smattering throughout the ground.
