For those interested, here is Suns fan view.

Chol is talented to play AFL but the knock on him is that he is inconsistent, does not work hard and is lazy at times. He did score 44 goals in 2022 but Casboult beating him for the spot in 2023 does not reflect well on him.

Yes, there were rumours that Chol salary is around 400K. It's pretty much up to Dimma whether Chol is in his plans. It's Luko and King forward with Walter down the track. I expect we will find out soon (next week after VFL Grand Final).

I suspect Hollands could be more available than Chol. He showed something in 2022 but this season he was disappointing. He has great hands in tight but appeared soft, just floating around. Fresh start could do him good. Humphrey has the forward/midfield spot locked in. It looks like Carlton are into him.

I suspect both Chol and Hollands are not salary dump but rather do they fit in future plans. Dimma's call.

Burgess is hard working depth. He can play back, forward, pinch in the ruck.

As for pick 4. Good luck. There will be multiple teams bidding for it.
At the moment, there are reports that WB is willing to offer 10 + 17 + F1 with something coming back (I suspect 2nd or 3rd round pick).

Wait, what? Is he back in the frame?
Apparently he’s half full

I have the feeling Nicks wants to move TT out of the forward line more frequently. Chol would allow this to occur and perhaps add some x factor and even more flexibility in our tall brigade. Chol could also rotate into the Ruck. Would also potentially allow us to move past Walker long term. Imagine Chol and Hayward into our forward line. Teams would have a nightmare with their defensive strategies.

FF: Hayward, Fogarty, Chol
HF: Rankine, Walker, Rachele

Players rotating in throughout the match Pedlar, Berry, Keays, Thilthorpe plus other midfielders.

There simply isnt a weak link and each player could kick a bag on a mismatched defender.
TT has looked good when roaming up the ground near the wings. He seems to get a bit lost in the forward line with Walker and Fog both there. It might be a good move.

Unfortunately players saw right through him

On another topic, how overrated is Ben McKay?! So many flaws in his game.
To think it's seen as a definite that it will nab North pick 3 is just an absolute joke.
Teams paying him 800k over 6 or 7 years is just gross negligence imo.

Why couldn't there have been a bidding war for b crouch like this😪

A deal like that just has to be fake news. I can't believe any club would do that deal. A coach killer if it goes south. He is an average player at best.

Yeah .. I can visualise a Grundy type scenario for McKay in a few years depending on where he finishes up going

Could also see a massive pile on from the clubs supporters

Sydney may actually end up being the best place for him

He is bad. I dont think he is an automatic selection in a majority of defences.

WHY PIES ARE CIRCLING CROWS FREE AGENT

Collingwood and Sydney have emerged as a potential suitors for Adelaide free agent Tom Doedee.

Doedee remains unsigned for next year, despite the Crows’ campaign ending over a week ago and the defender’s 2023 season cut short by an ACL rupture in Round 12.

The 26-year-old has been linked to Brisbane for months and recently even spoke to the Lions about the possibility of playing for them next season.

But Herald Sun reporter Jon Ralph said the Swans were now circling Doedee after missing out Ben McKay.

“I can tell you their (the Swans’) Plan B for Ben McKay – who (on Tuesday) told them ‘I’m not interested’ – is Tom Doedee. They’re significantly interested in him,” Ralph told Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle.

AFL Media reporter Cal Twomey said the Magpies, who have some salary cap room, also can’t be ruled out of the Doedee race.

“The one I want to put on the radar is Tom Doedee. We revealed last week on Inside Trading that they have an interest in the Adelaide free agent,” Twomey told the Gettable podcast.

“You look at their future team, Jeremy Howe could be in his last season next year.

“They’re looking into the void there and Doedee as a free agent could give them some coverage in that part of the ground.

Doedee last month publicly expressed his desire to stay at Adelaide, but added the serious knee injury he suffered in June had thrown a spanner in the contractual works. He also suggested the Adelaide offer in front of him was short of what he’s after.
