Been hanging out around the water cooler down at AFL HOUSE too?Just a bit of chatter around that West Coast or Hawthorn will pick up Hunter; and no one knows the direction that North will go.

If Hunter is not available I wouldnt mind seeing May selectedNot entirely sure that Hunter will make it to our first pick.
Taller, faster, higher is Hunter, he is elite in speed 2.9 over 20 and leap, Top10 national for standing leap at 2020 combine and grown to 196cmDon’t think I’d take such a short term view in terms of availability ruling the decision, my only beef with Hunter is he looks mighty similar to Bauer his highlights were exactly the same and we haven’t played him
Hunter will be available and well take Rye Penny I ******* guarantee it.
Key forward first pick or the clubs list management team should be fired

Bauer is more like your smooth moving Gunston third tall at 191cm.
Regardless, you got to be able to play them to develop and we have a free hit for the rest of the season with JR8 around to teach forward craft.
I like Buller, he is a footballer and attacks the ball and man fiercely. Nank has forged a career out of this. If fit he could walk straight into the game against GWS and that may have you choose him if it was line ball, but he ain't so it doesn't
Yeah, Ryan's hands give me zero confidence he'll be a KPF. Great ruck potential though. I have even less confidence in Bradke... Could've already had Teal on our list. Bauer is a better defender than forward imo. Stocks are low.Nice summation.
Our key forward stocks are the worst in the league. The sad reality is I could go through nearly every single AFL list and I could pick a key forward (or multiple) that would walk into our best 22.
We need a base to start somewhere. A big, solid young key forward with good form beyond him is a huge upgrade on what we have to pick from (even if upside is capped). I still maintain Ryan is our future first ruck. Don't see it with him as a forward.
Richmond also looks more favourably on pressure acts and forward defence. Hence why Noah C cant get into the sideI worry about Buller ability next level a bit more than Hunter. Think Hunters athletic tools will allow him a better chance to play well at the next level. As you stated, he has elite level athletic ability and he’s the exact type you take here.
Not saying Buller can’t or won’t make it, but working on percentage wise, think for me, it’s Hunter.
We'll take Tucker and Matty Clarke will strut out with a cigar between his teeth and his arms draped over a couple of floozies and rattle off 'we like his versatility, he can play in the ruck and go forward and go back and clunk marks in defence'.Maric, Buller, Hunter, and Tresize. At least one of these players (and other KPFs) will be available at our first pick, so surely we don’t stuff this draft up and pick a pure ruck…
Not worse than Melbourne's. They have JVR then literally no one under 30. They do have Ben Brown, Tom McDonald and a resting ruckNice summation.

That’s exactly what I am worried about with Buller. Hunter though looks agile and athletic. Kinda like Charlie Curnow and Jeremy Cameron (although I’m not saying they’re similar in skill level). I think athletic KPFs like that adapt better to the modern AFL game.I worry about Buller ability next level a bit more than Hunter. That's funny because he ranks as elite for tackles this year but everything else is below average including his goal kicking hahaRichmond also looks more favourably on pressure acts and forward defence. Hence why Noah C cant get into the side
It's a rookie draft. There ain't much to choose from. If we feel the most likely player to succeed is a half back flanker, then we should take them.Key forward first pick or the clubs list management team should be fired

Reece Conca had me meltingI can't remember ever melting over a draft pick but reckon i'd smash my phone over that. Dud
Midnightis it tonight ?
wot time
Will probably run till about them going on form. Tipping 11 picks, could be a long night.Midnight
Was thinking if we were dead keen on teal/tresize then go either first and back up tall would be May or ElliottIf Hunter is not available I wouldnt mind seeing May selected
Is that incl Tom lynchNice summation.

That's a good point, not many gun KPF's in the comp right now.Is that incl Tom lynch
Who are Coll tall key forwards
Melb ?
PA we’re finlayson and lord
I wouldn’t get to hysterical the benchmark isn’t very high
Makes it even more worth the risk, imagine nabbing one for freesies. Other clubs would melt. That's a good point, not many gun KPF's in the comp right now.
