I can see us delisting/retiring/trading/moving on 10 to 12 players at end of 2023 season, unless we have a miracle season.

If that's the case then when probably trade in 2 or 3, draft 7 or 9, inc rookies, and DFA list 1 or 2.

our first pick next year is 35. We cant trade our 2024 future 1st having traded 23,s for jhf. ( i think?) So best to focus on landing a free agent with the lure of big $ , the only alternative is to trade out a big name to buy back into the first rd.

Until Georgiades signs on there’s a chance he could go, but I’m not writing him off as gone either.

We have a great record at keeping players, our list is in pretty good shape and west coast look like absolute dogshit and will be for a while still.

It makes more sense for Mitch “if” he wanted to go home to wait for free agency, get paid and hope that west coast are in a better place list wise then.

Correct although Hawthorn went longer than 4 yrs with permission from the VFL they won't allow us too though.
