Same. Just traded him out.
Will bring him in later
I stupidly dont have Glenn Maxwell but I am assuming he has recovered from his injury to be available for Round 1.

There is a scratch match tomorrow between Gades and Stars which should go some way in determining team for Round 1 for those sides.

Given the Round 1 double for the Stars, Im not sure getting Maxy in for 1 game is all that appealing.

Fit Maxi would be first picked.

100% Locked in.

I don’t have him either.

I have adjusted my team now focusing on week 2 and 3 doubles. Also no point having Harper on wkt bench. Save money.

Have 7 for round 1. Seifert, McGurk, Brown, Stoinis, Curran, McKenzie, Zampa

Forgetting old man Sid who will be managed and Richardson who has been shit for years.

Round 2 double looks like: Overton, Short, Allan, Inglis. Will bring in 2 scorchers but wait to see who is available and how round one goes for them.

Round 3 double looks like: McKenzie, Curran, Stoinis, Henriques, Patterson, Renshaw.

Adam Milne looks like he will be here for 3 games (first 3 ) before he departs for ODI Duties. I can see him causing a few troubles for the Perth Scorchers top order at the Perth Stadium.

Anyone considering him?

I am also considering ditching Stoinis. Don’t care if he did alright a few months back. He has been a dud for years. I doubt he bowls.
He actually did alright in the recent T10 league winning with Deccan Gladiators. He probably bowls max an over or 2. But do agree his attitude stinks most of the time in this league last season.

I had Milne initially but his t20 record isn’t that good?

He is cheap enough. My rationale is it’s him or Fabian Allen. Fabian means I don’t have to trade him in round 2

Stars are the worst bowling lineup in the comp fair to say.

I dont rate their bowling attack. Maybe Ill steer away from any Stars bowlers.

Maybe Joel Paris to have a good game against his old mob, and back in his own state?:eyes: Joel Paris is a cheap buy at 72k.

Whats the deal with him? Is he likely to get 4 overs?

Just reckon for Joel Paris to get 2 wickets at that economy on a road at the Junction is a good sign for BBL 14.

What has Joel ever done?

McKenzie will get 4 overs spin. Did well in two games last season. Younger. They are bullish on him.

Looking at that scoreboard. Khan for Renegades may be worth having instead of Curran. Even though Curran bowls death overs, 0/39 (3) gives me red flags. And Stoinis didn't bowl. I am not going to select him. I will stick with my rule that he is a dud and won't fall into the trap. There are other bowlers I could select that I am comfortable will score more. Same with batters.

Turner likely to play. Scored 30 in their practice game yesterday. Connolly also scored half a century so he will play.

Changes things up
Scorchers batting line up all revolves around Hardie playing / not playing.
Wont bowl but could play as a specialist bat
