i believe Corbett and Burgess have another couple of levels/gears to go.
Just need a coach who knows how to utilise a players/ teams strengths

Last I checked, they are in our best 22 and have been for most of the year. Corbett will operate better with one more KPF so he can play higher up and then use his running to get into the forward 50, or sit deep and mark the ball when the other taller defenders are off him.

I’m not sure what Burgess’ best position is, but he plays with energy. You could see the difference in effort when rucked. He is a versatile player for sure.

If both were 3-5 cm taller then they would be amazing, but they have their strength as medium forwards/backs/second rucks etc.

I thought Burgess got dropped for Smith on a couple occasions

and Corbett was dropped not long ago even though he kicked 4 the week before I thought?

You're left with the same question even if Parker doesn't sign

Flanders is developing, but imo he's not first choice midfield at this point.
Hollands is more a HFF with midfield scope
Weller needs to improve - Sharp will have gone past him by the start of 2022 imo
Davies is still developing but I imagine he progressively takes Greenwoods role

I do think Parker seems like the kind of guy that falls off a cliff pretty quickly...

Still, from my perspective if we can get a star player like Parker into our system, you pull that trigger immediately.

I don't really rate this Weller is terrible narrative that has emerged more recently.

7th in our B+F last year.

Is a lovely kick, looks to move the ball forward and play attacking football.
Leg speed, which we generally lack.

Should play half forward when he comes back IMO.
Would have ultimate faith in him hitting a Ben King
