Duggan is an interesting one. Worth an F1?
Yeah for sure. Handy heart and soul player, never progressed into an elite mid like he should of but very handy

No Yeo, no worries.
Is that F2 from Richmond? Probably pick 20-30. I would take it and run, haha.Richmond’s second for Chol and pick 70?
Tigers get Kosi
Hawks get Chol
Do t thing we will get the Hawks but maybe the Tigers is this proposed tradeIf we get F2 from Hawks for Chol we've done very, very well off his time here. That has every chance to be a very good pick next year.
I could see the hawks finishing higher than the tigers next yearDo t thing we will get the Hawks but maybe the Tigers is this proposed trade
Read wont go top 10Read is an interesting selection… key position/ruck could go there for sure
Read will go top 10. You can bookmark that.Read wont go top 10
Key position especially rucks take longer to develop
And drop down the order year after year.
Throw in the fact he is tied to our academy so no one will get him anyway.
Bid will come after 10
Rogers being 170cm and tied to us.. don’t see how he goes before pick 15 possible slides out of the first Rd
Everyone’s after the 190cm + tall mids who can play multiple positions
Here’s to hoping
?Craig Cameron just killed any chance of a good draft pick for Hollands
11AM - SUNS EXPLAIN WHY THEY’RE HAPPY TO MOVE TOP PICK ON
Gold Coast list boss Craig Cameron has confirmed his club is happy to part ways with top-10 draftee Elijah Hollands, despite being contracted to the club for next season.
While Hollands hasn’t requested a trade to Carlton – the club his younger brother Ollie plays for – the on-baller is contemplating a move to Ikon Park – although his management last week stressed Hollands would be happy to see out his Suns contract.
Hollands has played just 14 games since being drafted by Gold Coast with Pick 7 in the 2020 draft.
Asked if the Suns were open to moving Hollands on, Cameron told SEN on Monday morning: “Yeah we are – and there’s a number of reasons around it.
“First of all, to play Elijah (at AFL level), we’ve played him out of position a little bit so that we could get him in and play games. I think he’s best suited around the mid, rather than wing.
“The emergence of Sam Flanders in the second half of the season, we believe Bailey Humphrey will demand more midfield time and even young Alex Davies has developed really well for us – we believe that area of the ground for us is well stocked.
“Elijah probably didn’t grasp his opportunity that we gave him – even though we probably didn’t play him in what we think is his best position.
“I think the other thing – and I’ll be careful how I say this … we’ve actually made some really difficult decisions to get our TPP (Total Player Payments) to a position where we’re really comfortable with. But I think going forward, we’ve got to be really vigilant with some of the players that we have contracted, if they’re not meeting that level of contract then we have to make some decisions. We’ve got emerging young talent that’s going to demand certain salaries, you’ve seen what we’ve done in the past few years – which has been quite radical – to get to a position where we need to get to – and we don’t want to let that slide. We’ve done too much work to get to the right position.”
Cameron added: “Elijah is not exorbitantly paid, but I think we have to be really vigilant on all of our contracts going forward.”
Asked how he valued a player like Hollands and what a trade could look like, Cameron said: “Given what we did last week with the points, I think we’d like something in the future. But if we can do something that gives us a few more points as well for our academy boys, we’d look at that as well. I don’t think it’ll be a straight deal, I think there’ll be a couple of elements to it.
Asked if talks with the Blues were progressing well, Cameron said: “It hasn’t progressed very far yet, but I think it will over the next couple of days.”
The Suns are also trying to strike a deal with Hawthorn for Mabior Chol, who’s requested a move to the Hawks despite being contracted to Gold Coast for another two seasons. There’s a chance Richmond could get involved in talks to help Hawk Jacob Koschitzke land at Punt Road.
Cameron admitted the Suns weren’t happy with Hawthorn’s initial offer for Chol – the Suns wan a future second-rounder for Chol while the Hawks are looking at future thirds for now – but added it was “fair to say we’ve started to progress”.
“I think over the next couple of days that will move forward. We had a little bit to get through last week, so we made that a priority. We’ll now move to another couple of deals and hopefully finish them off this week,” Cameron said.
“I don’t know about (a trade being struck) quickly, but it’s certainly progressing.”
Seems like he wants some points this year and something next year for Hollands so not going to be great.?
Cal twoomey and Riley saying no progress with Carlton over the weekend
That pick 18 will become like 22-24 as there will be more bids besides our academy kids. It's just moving points to next year. Nothing wrong with that. We will need it next year for a big fish, haha (and matching Leo's bid).Seems like he wants some points this year and something next year for Hollands so not going to be great.
More concerning is the mention of going into deficit, why would you trade pick 18 this year for 20 next year is it’s going to push back your first next year. Hope he has something up his sleeve or I’m going to me pissed
Because he will be uncontracted next year and we will hold 0 power.Sounds like a big fish is incoming.
Wouldn’t you just hold onto him 1 more year on an average salary to see if he can play.
If not trade him away next year and basically get the same pick in return
