my backline keeps reverting to the same 4 premos.

mac and steele have been locked. piggy and neale are obv m3/4.

rucks are set and forget.

add another ruck with english. heeney locked since day 1. jdg and treloar have been swapped around with dusty and thomas quite a bit.

still missing rowell in my team though.

Love your teams, is there a method to your numbering?

I think we need a stickied legend to explain, like:
First number - structure, eg 1 GnR, 2 MPM
second number - cash in bank, 1 being $0-$50k, 2 being $50k-$100k, etc
Third number - iteration

But that is a good base to start from IMO.

i keep trying to find a balance between must have players and great value for money players.

my favourites are the plethora of fwds around 440-500k.

quite a few defenders i like around 500-540k also.

apart from neale theres no obvious value in the midfield. rowell is an exception. maybe danger.

the cookie cutter base is the 4 defenders (2 premo 2 value). 2 premo rucks (out of the 4) macrae steele and neale are locked and then its whichever fwds you want to gamble on plus a premo mid of your choice if theres money left over.

I keep settling on my team then comparing guys from different lines just to confuse myself.
Duncan vs Short was todays confusion.
Hinge vs Ward the day before.
I think I am pretty settled until we start getting more data on the rookies.

I've run a calculation, and the only 4 players you haven't used so far are:
$845,100 - DEF - Ya Mum
$789,200 - RUC/FWD/DEF - Cain Ackland
$12.39 - FWD - Relton Roberts
$0.06 - MID - Bruce Willis (Sixth Sense.... geddit? hur hur)
