Haha, ethics probably the wrong word but the dude clearly doesnt exactly take his training too seriously
Providing Gatorade/ Powerade/ Apple Juice or whatever it was to hide substance and then getting caught with weed at the airport or wherever it was would suggest his training diligence isn’t top notch. I tried pot once and did well on the drums that night but my footy the next day wasn’t much chop.

I also understand his skin folds aren’t at the desired level ever.

Tabs must also be going to the WB as he also took his things from Cockburn
Big takeaway from that photo is that Logue is carrying nothing.

Obviously staying ...

And his locker will stink come the start of pre-season

He also carries more muscle on his frame than Rioli
Spot on. Lachie is a ball of muscle. In fact I reckon he is second to Fyfe on that front. Some pre-season pictures of him look like the definition of muscle particularly his legs and upper body/shoulders.

The fact that he lost 7-8 kg but is stronger (and reportedly much improved skin folds) speaks volume for his training dedication.

I like Junior. I also think he has a physique that will never be low skin folds. If he has ditched the weed then Port have themselves a good player with some of the magic that the Rioli family possess.

But I think it is a fair call at this stage given what has transpired over the past few years that his training dedication is questionable.

Comparing him against Griffin Logue and Schultz is just stupid. Logue has always been supremely fit. Loves getting his rig out and despite the resemblance to Wolverine certainly has skin folds that Junior would never be able to achieve.

Makes me appreciate guys like Lachie Schultz who apparently stayed with us for less years and less money
Was about to say this, Close and Atkins from the Cats the same. All 3 should be getting 3/400 k a year deals but sit on rookie contracts for the betterment of their clubs. One of the many reasons I love Shoota.

I'll have to disagree with you here, that may have been the case as a Junior, but from what I understand, his work to transform his running capacity was first class.

His decision making away from the club environment, leaves alot to be desired....
He has certainly trained that little pot belly into a bantam-weight beast in its own right.

they rejected some trade for picks with goldcoast and adelaide iirc. Can't remember the full details.
Recollections are vague and may be wrong, but didn't they also reject some complex deal involving multiple clubs that would have seen gold coast circumvent the purpose of priority listing youngsters and would have ultimately seen Jaegar O'Meara end up with us?

West australian reporters taking pictures of players leaving a building and speculating on that is some of the cringiest s**t they have ever done.
There’s a real opportunity for a set up by one of the players. Walking out with some Norf gear over your arm & a Norf letterhead to a heap of papers would set some tongues a wagging.

Blake Acres putting his footy boots in his car got articles and segments on 10 news, 7 news, the West, the Herald Sun and Fox Footy. Couldn't imagine the media storm that would create

Griff should do this.

Then leak a BBQ invite to to a few people, have them think it's a farewell party.

Then stare down the photographer's camera as the Norf paperwork goes in the fire.
