I think this is where intra club games can be misleading.
IIRC the black team was our 1st Def up against the yellow 1st Fwds. Rioli was in the 1sts and would have taken at least 6 marks as that short receiver and probably had 15+ disposals. HRS was in the 2nd's Def and had the same role but showed a bit more dash, in my mind HRS is the backup for Rioli.

How bad was his injury? I read somewhere that he's meant to be fine for rd 1.

Everything I've said about him is spot on - plus he's an interceptor too. Actually heavily considering having him as my F6 at this stage - given the lack of options and his likely JS for this year (Henderson's spot is basically his now). Reckon he could average 60, given his former nous as a mid and his very decent kicking ability. That vid shows just how good he looks (some on our board are comparing him to Darcy Moore)
I must admit, those marks look good. Was always tempted to bin him because of his size but he looks pretty good.
At 15/16 he played as a pure mid, and then had a 20+ cm growth spurt over the space of two years - which means he's retained all of his knowledge and muscle memory as a mid, but in a key position player's body. Watch the pickup at 34 seconds in, and it's clean as for a player of his size - which shows what I mean re: the midfielder in him. Gonna be a hell of a player
