I cant - I've got Short & Stewart but keep looking at the helmet

can't really go wrong with any 2 of the 3

thats interesting cos i have it the same atm, just changed from 5 premo defence to 4 (young the replacement) and i figure i gotta pick stewart just cos of his good history, durability and sense of value cos of his injury game last season making him underpriced compared to his true average of last season. also crucially, his bye. picking stewart gives me a premo bye structure of 1-5-5 from rounds 12-14.

therefore if i'm honest its really daniel or short unless someone gives me a compelling reason why both will be better than stewart.

tricky decision, short is better value and potentially has a scoring ceiling hes not yet reached, but daniel is less risky, with short there is talk of him scoring worse if/when houli returns. and both could really benefit from the rule changes.

Doedee is a $458k defender and Green is a $351k mid

Doedee racing the clock to be fit for round 1, very underdone, big no for me at his price, so it has to be Green, even though I don't trust that he'll get the right amount of time on-ball

If you have ~$450k to spend, I would look at Clark, Phillips, Taranto and De Goey, they are all great options to me

Ooooh right. I would do with Clark then at D6, cheaper than Doedee. Don't trust Green or Doedee

Or downgrade your D6 midpricer to Butts and upgrade Green to somebody

I came to pretty much the same conclusion - Stewart for the bye with one of Short or Helmet

Short for the potential upside knowing Helmet can come in anytime for a similar cost

I don't rate Duggan as highly as most. I'm probably off the mark but my gut feel says he averages 80-85 as a mid tagger. I'd sooner take Hunter Clark for 15-20k less.

He dosen't appear to have tagged in any of the games he has played midfield he definately seems to still be learning the craft of playing in that position. I think he could be a 95+ player not expecting the world but similar to Butters. I do like the fact that it would allow me to have Llyod D1 I don't care what anyone says he will still be the best defender come the end of the year and so hard to get in if you don't start him. I think Laird & Daniel are much easier upgrade targets especially as I have Clark in Defence(Hopefully he gets plenty of games) then I can trade Laird in the Midfield as another option.

What do you see them averaging? I see Cripps at 110 and Gaff at 107, for about 217 pts per week.

Reckon Rowell goes about 103 and Bont goes 115 odd.But that’s with the risk of Bont playing forward cos the Dogs have no forwards. Don’t know if it’s as clear cut as you make out.
