It’s hard arcticke today by his manager saying he has offers from 4 clubs other than essendon

Until he’s on a list you can’t sign him. He’ll be a FA option at some point if he’s signed.

Yeah, I think they should be on the FA list before you can sign him. Maybe it could be changed in future drafts but I don’t think for this draft all coaches were working on the assumption you could sign someone not on UF.

So if he is signed, he goes to the FA list where everyone will have the opportunity to bid on him. The ones with the higher waiver priority would get first access.

Can we all agree that none of the players picked up post the rookie draft can be picked until our draft has been completed. I.e. if uf add Paul Hunter tomorrow, he can't be picked up from this draft.

I think that is the fairest way to go about it

I think there needs to be rules for the FA draft as last year people just started claiming them on mid week waivers from memory without the normal FA draft order.
