Lol seriously can we just have a ban on posting things ol clickbait Kornes says…

none of it is interesting and it’s all designed to just stir people up.

Hodgey wants a new rule! Hodgey gets a new rule.

No more clickbait shit from Cornes in here.

Also:
Can we also threadban Rendell quotes. The bloke is senile.
Done ✔️

Calling it now

This is LindaCRS's new account.

Hi Linda
I've often wished there was a way to see the former names of accounts/new accounts. It would sure give some context to some people's chats that for sure!

Rather keep Wingard than O’Meara
Wingard's name hasn't come up either, apart from some suggestion out of SA that he'd be looking to get out of Vic. Can't see it happening.

He's 27.

In our three-peat years Sam Mitchell was 31, 32 and 33

Not saying you aren't right but not saying that you are right either - many factors at play to win a flag and maybe just maybe Coniglio isn't the dumbest move we can make if it also comes with a first round draft pick and we lose Tom Mitchell - we then keep the experience and gain a younger player.
Can we give the cogs salary dump a rest?
a) He had his chance to come and chose to stay and captain which is totally fine. He’s now lost a yard of pace and never been a good kick, he has no tricks that make him a great player. The salary dump would hurt us in 2 or 3 years. I would take it if it was cogs and pick 2 for pick 21 but not a chance I’m doing it for pick 5
B) gws are not trading away their captain for unders
Can we stop talking about it, it’s not happening

Got the strategy if this year's draft is rated. Trade our future first into this year's pointy end. Use selection 21 (would be better if it was the first pick of rnd 2) to trade in a future first from a top 4 team who like a player that has slipped through.

We stay in the first round next year but load up on this year which we rate higher.

Sounds like it is going to be an exciting next 10 days or so.

I hope we do lose 2 senior players (Tom and Jack I’m assuming) and bring in cogs to help guide the kids and slot into Tom’s role

We will end up with alot of good kids if we can use 5 picks in the first 24. I feel the next 2 years is all about the kids…..finding out who is going to make it and than end of 2023 is time to go free agent hunting to find the missing pieces!

I think Cogs to Hawthorn had been a creation of this board and nothing else. I wouldn't be banking on his arrival.

Mitchell and Gunston leaving seems far more realistic but I'm personally still a little unconvinced it's on the horizon.

I did love Timmy and Howe.

in all seriousness those were 2 of my favourite players

they were always up against it and i wanted nothing more than to see them really grow into great players

i would be really happy to see them succeed at another club

I like it. Is it fact that we rate this draft higher ?.

I really hope all this talk of a big name(s) being on the trade table doesn’t include Sicily.
It would be a silly move by us and him to even consider it just after coming off an acl. Who’s going to pay his market without knowing how he’ll perform. Even we don’t know and we’re rehabbing him.

Sicily wont be traded, he's a FA next year which would mean a very high draft pick.

What if Suns offered us pick 3 and a player?

We would have to consider it. Or risk losing him for less next year.

I have no inside info. Just making a point. Never say never, that is all I am saying.
