The Athletic's John Glennon reports the NFL on September 29 told the Titans not to conduct any in-person activities.
The team then had an in-person session on September 30. There had been some question as to when the league told the Titans to stop all in-person activities to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. If the team had been instructed to stop those activities and held the session anyway, they could be subject to serious penalties from the NFL. The league's black sheep franchise is going to have a rough fall.

The Week 5 game between the Bills and Titans could be moved to Monday or Tuesday.
Players for both teams were reportedly told delaying the Week 5 game was one option under consideration as the Titans deal with their COVID-19 outbreak. This option would no longer be viable if the Titans continue to report new COVID cases throughout the week. Moving the game to Monday or Tuesday would bump the Week 6 Thursday night Bills-Chiefs game to Saturday, October 17.

The Chiefs and Raiders reported no new positive COVID-19 tests.
It's good news for the KC-Vegas game this Sunday. The Raiders had recently placed a player on the COVID-19 list and the Chiefs last week played the Patriots, who are dealing with a COVID outbreak. Fantasy players should monitor the status of the Raiders-Chiefs game in the coming days.

The Patriots on Wednesday reported no new positive COVID-19 tests.
ESPN's Mike Reiss reports that QB Cam Newton, CB Stephon Gilmore, and practice-squad DT Bill Murray remain the only Patriots players who have tested positive for the virus. The team won't practice Thursday. All work will be done virtually as the Patriots prepare for this week's game against the Broncos.

I dont think the NFL is allowed to play on a Saturday at least not a national televised game, might be a loophole for regional only coverage.

I always thought that it was a "handshake" deal between the NFL and NCAA not to play on Saturdays between September and 2nd week of December but someone did a article on it when it looked like no CFB season was going to happen and its something linked to the TV broadcast act and the NFL would need congress apporvial or something to play on a Saturday

i have no idea why they dont/cant play saturday or other days, youre the best for all that broadcasting and scheduling rules.

Chapter 32 in Title 15 of the United States Code states the NFL is prohibited from airing its content on Friday evenings starting at 6 p.m. or “on any Saturday” as high school and college football games typically occupy those days/time slots in the fall.

The law says the NFL isn’t allowed to show games “during the period beginning on the second Friday in September and ending on the second Saturday in December in any year from any telecasting station located within seventy-five miles of the game site of any intercollegiate or interscholastic football contest scheduled to be played.”

At best they would need to blackout some big markets. I think Fox would rather move the game to the Sunday 4:25 slot and keep it national since Bills/Cheifs should be a ratings draw national and Fox would be stupid to only show it in NY/MO. and even parts of Missouri could be blacked out because of SEC/Big12 football

im going to enjoy these Tuesday morning double headders with the NE/Denver also moved and the NO/LAC moved back an hour [might also be moved to Lucas Oil because of delta]

and then the Titans/Bills on Wednesday*

the NFL really needed to put into the covid rules if a team is forced to forfeit a game the other team will still get paid. the only concern im seeing with the Titans forfeiting the Bills game is that the Bills players lose a payment because of no game. No one has any real issues the the Titans getting the forced loss.

Prime video link to to the game.
