LOL... You gotta admit SOS was a terrible recruiter
No, he very clearly wasn't. But that's not even the aspect of your post I was referring to.

15-25, 10-20, 20-35, 25-35.Can you please give a valuation (your opinion) on a couple of Carlton players
SPS , Dow , LOB , Cunnigham
Thanks for sharing guy's and well done.
If we were to bring in all your discussed players 5x traded (less Kennedy), 4x Draft + 1x Gibbons
Who would you Trade or Delist to fit them all in??
No dickhead policies are over-rated... 'Dickhead' is such a subjective term. SOS was a dickhead himself picking private school boys. A club champion who was a terrible recruiter.

Seriously what is with this bullshit about private school boys not being good footballers?
get rid of moore. from there its tough. perhaps polsonSo we've now got 40 players on the list after delisting four and two retirements.
If list sizes reduce to 42, with the addition of Williams and three draftees, we need to cut another two players as a minimum.
According to AFL.com, Williamson will receive and Kennedy should receive new contracts. That leaves the list of potential cuts to:
Moore
Polson
Owies
Macreadie
Phillips
IMO, we need to keep Macreadie on for at least one more year with Goddard, BSOS and Finbar leaving. If we have injuries down back, we'll be exposed very quickly.
Would like Phillips to get one more year too. We took him on as a project player. It was always going to take more than one year to get him physically ready for AFL. I'd like to see what he can do with another 5-7kgs on his frame before parting ways.

Lol laughable rightYes - I think it's because they don't live in the 'real world' - which apparently is those 5 or 6 suburbs between Broadmeadows and Braybook where everyone is tough !
A lot of them are scholarships so the families arent necessarily rich. Even if they are so what?Lol laughable right
Never mind how many footy scholarships private schools are now dishing out - it’s a huge industry atm, claiming all private school footy players are from a different world
Owies being a Cat B rookie helps his case to stay on, doesn’t really impact the list, unless we’ve got one or two potential Cat B alternatives we’d like to bring in this offseason, which I doubt is the case. They'd be the first two I'd delist too.
Polson has been on the list for four years now. Shown signs, but hasn't shown enough for the time he has spent on the list.
Not sure how the club view Owies in the scheme of things, but to me, Macreadie and Phillips appear to have the most development left in them. Macreadie could still be a very good player with continuity. Just needs a good run with injuries.

Interesting analysisSPS: Unfortunate to be played out of position this year. He is alright off the HBF but lacked some hardness when the opposition player took him to the back pocket. I think long term he'll have benefited with the experience of playing in defence. Doubt we will see him as a defender next season.
DOW: Difficult to assess as he was injured this season and only played 3 games. Needs a clear run at it. Saying that, he hasn't lived up to the hype and I'd trade Dow for any one of Stack, J Higgins, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith or RCD from Richmond in a heartbeat.
LOB: Bust! should never have drafted him @ pick 10 - Should have stuck to cricket.
Cunningham: Displays all the attributes, but always gets injured. Hard to play him, gibbons, fisher in the same team.
15-25 haha... is much better than that15-25, 10-20, 20-35, 25-35.
That could easily change in 12 months, but their output and/or consistency needs to lift.

For anyone that still wants Petruccelle, West Coast supporters are giving him away.
What a difference a creative small forward makes. Someone like Ryan or Papley are exactly what we need but how to find it?

More delistings or publicly putting senior players on the trade table (and diminishing their value)? What the hell is North doing with their list?Looks like their completely gutting it.Surely you leave some experience there.
