Those starting Hill at D5/D6, who the fu** do you have on field up forward? Max "will struggle to average 40" King? Darcy "won't play round 1" Cameron? Some people got some wizardry going on I swear

Whit, Martin, Shitracca or Dawson, Smith, Bonar if named, whichever ****ing rookie plays.

No point taking about on field rookies until you see the round 1 teams.

I'll basically use Dawson/Hill to reinforce whichever line has the least amount of round 1 named rookies, whether that's F or D. Or, heaven forfend, mid.

And if Cameron isnt playing rnd 1? Either way it seems likely he wont play that many games unless cox or grundy miss.

Also what if rankine doesnt play until rnd 4-5 because they give him 1 or 2 games in the reserves first?

Other rookies may come into calculation yet. Still a couple of weeks to go.
I'm happy to run with this set up and carry 1 non-playing bench rookie depending on team selection for round 1.

I tried it and hated it. I don't want to pay close to $200k for expensive rookies who could score poorly and still have bad JS (Andreson, Green, Serong, etc)

I'm trying 6 premo mids with Gawndy and mid-price madness down back and up forward, with a few high price rookies (Noble, Bonar, Hill, etc)

I wouldn't trust any key forward on our list until Hinkley is gone. Even if Georgiades plays Round 1 he'll be out of the team as soon as he has a poor game. Hinkley couldn't develop a Polaroid.

Noble is best 22 and will get a few kicks and tackles down back, score decent
Bonar by all accounts is best 22 as they have a few injuries, will play inside mid and score decent
Hill is best 22 and will score well if he stays fit

Why? $215k and $200k respectively, if they average ~70 will be worth it. Don't think we'll get enough cheapies

Don't think you'll be able to get away with it come round 1, we'll get enough def and fwd rookies, but I think mids will be lacking still. See how you go anyway

Hosie-King-Cameron. If Cameron doesnt play then Hill can come F6. Running Ash, Zerk and Hill in def atm.

Isn't Noble supposed to be the worst kick in the AFL? I'm sure I read that somewhere. At 200k he'll need to get about 30 possessions a week to be worthwhile.

Statistically? Maybe, he had a few shockers last year from what I can remember. We've run out of small defenders, Greenwood did the ACL and Aish was traded, Noble is loved by Bucks, he's best 22 right now, the only way he's not playing is if he has a few absolute shockers and loses us a game. I think I'd rather Noble at $215k than somebody like BZT. We'll see anyway
