I get you're Croatian but lots of factors go into defining body shape, especially something as vague as anglo ones.

And also he already has a big arse and thighs. Like, that's what I said. He doesn't need to build it. It's there.

And Hughes is wiry. Footballers are much slimmer irl these days than they were 10 years ago. He has low low body fat, is really muscular, and he's streamlined. He's definitely not a 'lump of a lad.' To me a lump is a Neale (sniff sniff)/Crowden sort who are nothing but short, small weights. Hughes is built like those little Ikea bendable figures – up, down, tall, thin.

reminds me of Kouta the bloke played AFL since his early teens but apparently he was an athlete playing footy.
The most overrated player of all time. Terrible intelligence, average kick, just ran through blokes. Carlton fans will tell you he was the midfield Carey but his mark on the game was small for someone so discussed. Completely overrated.

And early teens... that's what, literally 13-15 by definition in an era where you were drafted at 16/17.

One of the great wanks.

I'm not a Carlton fan and we must be recalling a completely different footballer. Did you see him play or just watch footage?

I saw him play live at Subi a few times and he was totally dominate. He certainly took a few years to understand his talent but then wow - not over rated at all - bloody brilliant.

Disagree with the comments that logue is just an athlete, though he is athletic.

He has a booming kick on him, could be an absolute weapon.

Too early to tell about the rest, but for a second or third kpd role he projects bloody well.

Not sure about the midfield idea, Mundy is who he is due to his excellent composure that not many possess, I expect logue will be a different but still good player. Maybe on a wing.

Not sure why everyone wants to move him - 3rd tall will be his perfect position. Can play tall and small. Will be able to use his athleticism to get 3rd man up and intercept mark/spoil plus he is a better kick than pearce and hamling. If we were to add clark in the draft we would have some real kicking weapons with logue, ryan, wilson and clark

I would think cox is more likely to make it as an inside midfielder. Has greater agility around the stoppage and is creative with his hands. Hogan would be a candidate to get thrown in the middle and I'm hoping mundy and hill spend more time in there this year
Yep I agree, nothing wrong with developing him as a third tall who can play on anyone either. I know it was only preseason and yes I know preseason form doesnt always transfer to regular season play where the pressure is obviously higher, but watching him up close playing 1 on 1 on Walters in a couple of training sessions last year made me think his agility is ridiculously underated. He can certainly keep up with twisting and turning forwards as well as taller forwards.

I don't think you can develop footy smarts, you do when you're playing Auskick and learn to adapt those skills and your common sense into proper play, full sized grounds. If you don't have those smarts on a list then... ouch.
Wally what sort of skills do you have with a paint brush ? I say probably Shithouse but you would be good on The Roller he he and I don't mean rolling weed but maybe you do he he he

Logue is half Croatian - genetics suggest he should be able to build that body shape without too much of an issue. Reckon he'll end up with looking a bit like Pav did - strong through the hips, backside and thighs. Almost impossible to tackle.
Time for the regular reminder that Pav is only about 1/64th actual Croatian and his family is Scottish. Theory doesn't really hold up for Logue. Unless the other half is Scottish I suppose.
