Surely not... whose he replace? Baker will be stiff.
Maybe just keeping him ready in case someone gets suspended or injured. Think if we win and have clean bill of health we will go unchanged for the GF

Disagree Stack is a match winner, if he plays well in the VFL Grand Final he should definately walk straight in if we get over the Cats.

Personally, I'm pretty happy that chances of rain are slim now. Wet conditions would mean a tighter, more unpredictable game. With the two rucks, Lynch and Jack, the dry weather will let us play to our strengths. As we saw against Brisbane we surge just as well, if not better when it's dry!

Rain keeps their older players in the game longer, Ablett & Selwood. Dry weather means we can run them off their legs over 4 quarters. Plus dry weather is better for our marking forwards and they won't have Hawkins.

Yes very true they were much louder . I was sitting opposite to there cheer squad it was horrid lol I had a bit of a flu that night so couldn’t be f’ed melting lol

Me too. Was sitting in the Southern Stand, first level, just inside the 50 line where the AFL members starts. *** did they go off.

Its in our destiny to play, and win against them, in a GF.

Loved Dimma's response to a media question regarding Chris Scott's alleged insult about us being better last year. Praised Geelong as a Club and acknowledged Scott as someone who can insult someone without actually making it sound insulting. It was for all the world like a matador deftly and contemptuously, without of course sounding contemptuous, dismissing a pesky irritating, but completely ineffective, bull. Dimma is at the top of his game.

Guys and girls, i have some bad news....

Every game my sister goes to, we lose.............. she just acquired tickets

Im sorry.

I'd say it's the other way around, sound insulting without making out to insult someone. The way I took what Scott said was more generally we had a better season in 2018 than 2019, which is objectively true. That's different than arguing we are better placed to win a prelim this year v last year.

Fair point.

Anyone sitting near the races when Chris Scott runs down make sure you give him an earful.
nah the afl crowd po po would nail you for that. what a sad time we live in...

1st quarter of this game is huge, can’t afford to be chasing from the get go like last years prelim. Weather the storm, break even, grind them out
I have a better idea, Geelong will come out flat as tacks and we will be 5 goals to the good by qtr time.

don't like eating our own, but the coordinated “boo Geelong” effort on social media by members of the cheer squad is pissant behaviour. have we got nothing up our sleeves except for "Richmond clap-clap-clap" and booing the other team? we're the favourite and the home team, we should act like it
