Will you give up on Suban as well :p
For your sake No . you are so biased . Ok to bashed mayne and trade him out but not suban. Not that is your fault that no other afl club ask for him after some salesman effort from fyfe last year.

Just a question or eg nothing personal , will ross talk to two players like clarkson and tell them they are not in his plan beyond 2017

I reckon Ross is very forthright with the players and would definitely tell them where exactly they sit.
That is probably why Clancee skulked off. Others have said Clancee said he was leaving early last year.

Very hard to put a best 22 together, but if we get who we are supposed to and all are fit, I'd like to see:

B : Spurr, Collins, Hamling
HB : Mundy, A Pearce, Johnson
C : Hill, Fyfe, Hill
HF: Bennell, McCarthy, Yarran
F : Walters, Apeness, Kersten
Foll: Sandi, Neale, Barlow
Int: Weller, Langdon, Ibbo, Blakely

I really love that forward line, very potent. That leaves out some very unlucky players who will be great depth. But at the risk of sounding like a Richmond supporter, there is plenty to get excited about. For the first time I can remember, we should have competition for spots all over the ground. If we stay fit, no reason we can't make the eight and go deep into finals.

Critising the actions of our players is fair enough, but there is a tendency to play the man and not the ball. Mob mentality takes it a bit further.

While its not banned, rubishing our players who in the course if their journey in purple will have back and various leg issues for the rest of their lives, possible future effects from concussions etc doesn't reflect well on us.

Just for testing in Nab cup
Not season start to see freo depth

Crozier collins hamling
Nyhuis ueber tucker
Weller blakely langdon
Bennell tabs new draftee
Yarren apeness cam mac

A.pearce , kersten , sherro

Fyfe Neale hills brothers mundy sandi known quality no need to play that much in nab.

I feel that we are all being a bit optimistic in naming Johnson. Much as I would like him to play all year I think age and injuries will catch up with him and we'll only see occasional games from him interspersed with a lot of injury.

Where did I bash Mayne o_O. I was hoping he would stay. You have the wrong poster. The only player I have been tough on is Hannath.

Hannath is cheap pick , you can tough on him anytime, as for suban lately i dont even bother to bash on him , just trying to convince other afl team he is as good value as mayne as a blocker.l dont see anything wrong to promote him to other team in a nice way aa I saw your post regarding trading fyfe for few top ten pick .

I'd have Taberner starting over Kersten, and Kersten on the bench for Langdon.

It was a what if not a lets do it.

Spurr Hamling Johnson
Crozier Pearce Weller
Hill Neale Hill
Bennell Tabs Walters
Yarran Kersten McCarthy
Fyfe Blakely Sandilands

I/C: Tucker Mundy Langdon Apeness

I think Ape moves into the second ruck position and rotates through the forwardline. Tabs could be very very good with our improved ball users. Unfortunately I dont think we can fit Collins into the team with Hamling, Johnson and Pearce but I cant see Johnno playing more than 10 games anyway.

If I wanted to go full development I would switch Spurr with Tucker and bring in Sheridan or Balic but as much as we want to, we cant just put every young player in the team unfortunately

There is actually so much competition for spots now, its pretty exciting. Depth players from that team include: Ballas, Barlow, Dawson, D Pearce, Collins, Balic, Sutcliffe, Sheridan. I cant see how Ross could justify playing Pearce ahead of Langdon or Tucker, the later is arguably a better player already

Spurr - Dawson - Hamling
Sutcliffe - A. Pearce - Crozier
S.Hill - Neale - B.Hill
Bennell - Tabs - Walters
Yarran - Apeness - Kersten

Sandi - Fyfe - Mundy

Blakely - Langdon - Sherro - Weller
