How did Foles go so well then fall apart???
We was damn lucky that season I remember so many 50-50 balls went Phillys was that could have easily been picked.

Plus he got to play the Raiders

Brady is the best qb of all time, go see pats vs seahawks comeback vs a great defense as proof. The guy has 4 Superbowl wins and even in the losses it was super close. LA can shut his mouth on this one, he was an avid netball supporter when manning won his first superbowl.

You wish you chose the Patriots but you chose the Eagles

This is a myth thats growing greater as time goes on.

'So many' wouldnt have exceeded a handful at best. Every QB has those in a season.

Yeah he's great

That's why he can't get a roster spot. I watched a shitload of Philly that season

Dry your eyes and accept reality

We lead the league in rushing that year and we had 0 injuries to our Oline.

His turnover rate was a little overrated because he took alot of sacks (The worst was vs saints in the wildcard to take us out of FG range, we lost the game by 3).

I think he was the beneficiary of the talent in front of him, and the lack of talent he was playing against.

I definitely agree

I honestly thought at the time that he got away with a lot. Cooper looked like Randy Moss many times that year.

It's quite bizarre to think that a person who put up that season is languishing back on the depth chart. Just don't think that stats tell the whole story

Yeah, I'm sitting here crying at having Carson Wentz balling out.

There's no need to reinvent history for Foles. He had a great season. Strangely enough, sometimes players who don't end up being greats can have those. Some people sometimes fall into the fallacy of thinking that they can use subsequent events to change the reality of events that occurred.

Congratulations on having watched a 'shitload', but unfortunately there's a pretty substantial difference between watching and understanding.

Ps, he's got a roster spot.

We lost the playoff game because our defence couldnt stop a quarterback sneak when called multiple times in the fourth quarter. Foles left with the lead.

"Not seeing the field is a problem for Carr. He has too many plays throughout his career where he has thrown out of clean pockets to covered receivers underneath."
This is what separates him from someone like Brees who basically capitalizes on every opening.
--------------
Doesnt always make the right read, takes too long to make the read, and leaves plays/yards/td's that could have been made.
--------------
He also seems to panic a bit when the pocket is actually fine, or the protection is set up correctly but he still doesn't trust it. Hoping he grows out of it.
--------------
I think he's always gonna be a more polished (technique-wise), choir boy version of Favre. Fun to watch, explosive and never bad enough to wanna replace, but he'll continue to sting you with random head-scratchers of games. He just needs a defense and/or a very solid running game at all times because the version of Favre without that is Tony Romo and we know how that career went.

I love how easy authors make playing the Quarterback position seem when most of their opinions are written after the fact, in relative safety, without 300 pound beasts trying to crush them.

It's a do or die season for Kirk Cousins. One game he looks like Tom Brady, the next he looks like Ryan Fitzpatrick. I am a Kirk fan and believer but wonder if the pressure of playing for a long-term deal is getting the best of him.
