What about the Yarran, Higgins advice?
You reported a post that's giving an opinion. Good luck with that.
I'll be laughing at the end of the season when he's not in the top 10 scoring defenders, and you've all wasted your cash.
What makes you think that?I'll be laughing at the end of the season when he's not in the top 10 scoring defenders, and you've all wasted your cash.
He's an average player, who can't win his own ball. What makes you think that?
He's a seagull, and those birds are of great advantage to ones Dreamteam. Collecting chips from the scrap heap are their specialty, and although we may hate them, they are valuable from a DT perspective...He's an average player, who can't win his own ball.

Pick him then.People do realise hes had like the most clearances on avg at essendon over NAB and one of the highest at of everyone in the AFL
Facts, who needs them.People do realise hes had like the most clearances on avg at essendon over NAB and one of the highest at of everyone in the AFL
Which makes him reliant on others in an average midfield to feed him the ball. Will be inconsistent and lucky to crack the ton 3 times. He's a seagull, and those birds are of great advantage to ones Dreamteam. His ceiling isn’t really huge. Even with a 30 possession game against Geelong in Round 15, he only just cracked 100 points. 108 against Richmond was his highest score of the season which came from 29 disposals.
I think you're looking at his 2011 stats.Which makes him reliant on others in an average midfield to feed him the ball. Will be inconsistent and lucky to crack the ton 3 times.

Duffield, Hanley........who is better value in Def?
Fair enough, others will average the same, if not more but cost less.I think you're looking at his 2011 stats.
His highest score in 2012 was 137. I'm not sure how you could think he's inconsistent, he's one of the most consistent scorers in the comp. 70% of the time he played he scored between 75 and 100. He only went below 70 two times.
Considering he will move into the midfield this season I expect him to average even more.
Duffield, Hanley........
So you're saying the 6 highest priced defenders will average the most in their respective category? Way to go out on a limb.Duffield carries the big "beware Ross Lyon hates DT" sticker and Hanley is interesting... high ceilings and low floors...and its those low floors that makes him perfect for a grab when he has a double no show DT style...
I think Goddard Scotland Grimes Gibbs Heppell and Waters will be the top 6 ave by season end for what it's worth - injuries permitting.

First thing that sticks out, is that Boomer is out for the first six weeks with a suspension...
First crack at mine... Thoughts? 12k spare.
Oops completely slipped my mind, i shall fix that one now.. With someone.First thing that sticks out, is that Boomer is out for the first six weeks with a suspension...
Mitch Robbo/Matty Wright are some players to consider.Oops completely slipped my mind, i shall fix that one now.. With someone.
