Yeah fair enough, not disputing that. I just feel like I'm frequently made aware of a different unwritten rule that I had no idea about.

Bloody hell! Any chance the Lions could develop a run D? Or a screen D? Or a 10+ pass option that doesn't involve Megatron? Geez we made A.Smith look good.

So did Green Bay at Lambeau....apparently they're an ok unit.

And i'm positive Detroit won't be the last side to "make A.Smith look good" this year - with Crabtree, Davis, Manningham and some battler named Randy Moss, he suddenly looks awesome against 2 sides that most rate....get used to it .

fair call - although for those who saw the last 2 niners games, they'd have to agree he seems to be playing with a different/more confident mindset in that he's prepared to back himself (and so far usually succeeding) in a few situations that he would have simply handed it to Gore last year - we'll have to wait and see if that stays the same against the better defensive units, but i'm fairly confident it will/hoping so.
