It appears this forum is going to be shut down as know one appears to reply or put anything on it, what is the go, the hume league is smashing this one. Get it going surley there is news out there about this league.

Heard from more than one Upper Murray senior coach that the Saints were approched by the UMFL to return to Bethanga and join their league. With exception of the juniors (who are getting pinched by rival TDFL clubs) are there any reasons why it couldnt happen? At least they would be competitve with the standard of their league and would be able to spend pretty much on a par with other clubs up there 25-30K instead of rival clubs in the TDFL (30-80K).:thumbsu:

Problem is your talking to coaches!!! believe it or not people make shit up!

Anything can happen but, why would any club want to go to a lower league, the club left bethenga before and that's why the club is "Wodonga" Saints, and I remind you the club is getting stronger over time, more juniors, more success and more money. They wont be a TDFL powerhouse over night, it takes time.

Hopefully they will have some good news in the next few weeks in regards to player signings and alike, time will tell.

Meanwhile whats happening at clubs on top of the ladder? We all know wodonga saints wont be world beaters this year, yet thats all we're talking about, whats going on at DMB, Mitta, Kiewa, beechworth and Tallangatta? all we hear about is Saints, yack and Chiltern these days? has anybody got something newsworthy?

Have it on good word that Beechy have lost the 2 Hallidays, 2 Dales and Kearton. May have regained Pigsy Collins which would be a huge plus but probably won't be bigger than losing the league leading goal kicker. Beechworth may struggle this year!

Wodonga never lost a coach by the way....romeril was useless. Results can be seen by his past coaching performances and by speaking to nearly ever individual at the past clubs. Those who he still has sucked in have followed him........look for Murray Magpies to have a massive year........in netball!!

With most lists pretty much settled does anyone from the respective clubs want to have a crack at what their senior side will look like come round 1..???

I was told that both him and hoordle the big bloke from saints have signed out there after wolf doing 3/4 of the preseason with barny.

3/4 with barny must be chasing money then is that what you think? anyone know how kiewa looking? is cameron staying or going?

Wont list a probable side for round 1 but at Rutherglen we expect to be competative with all sides this year. Gains are Jamie Seymour, Andrew Johnson from cor/ruth, Mark Donaldson returning after a year travelling, Brad Nicolson and Richie Ross, improvement from our young list has us optomistic for the coming season

Rutherglen and Wahgunyah will be another tough, physical game first up.Wahgunyah has signed Andrew Robertson,Jayme Hicks,Trent Ball from the Hume league.Leigh Schulz,Josh Keenes,Michael Kruen from Corowa thirds.Luke Bryon from Ganmain who will all line up round one and with the additions of another backmen and ruckman who are very close to signing Wahgunyah could be a very handy outfit round one with only two losses in Terry Symonds and Trent Vonarx.Only time will tell

Who is the sniper. And who is the backman and ruckman the lions are about to sign. Are the Lions are realistic chance of making the finals this year with these new players and new coach. Not much has been said about them, but about all the usual suspects.........Could they sneak under everyones guard.

No need to keep us guessing, i was only trying to get some info out of you but if this is how its going to be i will have to let the cat out of the bag for you.
Brad nicholson shifted to rutherglen last year he played approx 50 games for the footscray FC in the AFL in the late 90s then went to SNAFL for acouple of years, played 2 years at oak park in the EDFL and then went to greensborough inthe DVFL, he was a gun at oak park but stuffef his shoulder in the 2000 GF, his high light in the AFL was getting 10 kicked on him by Ablett snr, but he was on a footy card. has not played for a while but will add experience for an old man.

How was that cat did i miss anything, as for the other bloke, who knows.

NICHO YOU BIG PIG what are you thinking.:p
