Idk if I was just seeing things but looked like he got moved to half forward in the second half today. Doesn’t bode well for his round chances…

He definitely wasn't the worst player out there today. I rate him and reckon he's worth keeping around as experience in the side.

He would probably be in half the competition’s best 23’s so he’s definitely got a spot in ours. Awkward kicking style but usually effective. That clean bowled effort today that resulted in an opposition goal in the 3rd qtr was a classic example of a player losing concentration. Which he can do now and then unfortunately.

He made a bad error today - usually doesn’t make bad blues.
He doesn’t rebound with any purpose , or shut down any dangerous players , most of the time he’s invisible and in our side that’s a good thing.

During the Freo game at Marvel last year his indecisiveness in moving the ball on (and subsequent panic when called to play on) got him caught holding the ball in their forward pocket right in front of me, which led to a goal I believe. Freo fans around me were working themselves up into a furore mocking him. Has stuck with me.

Getting clean bowled by the footy is one of those moments. Changed momentum, was a pretty shit look and kind of summed up our day. I reckon he just lost alot of people who were otherwise indifferent so long as he tried.

Did wonders for a few other players prospects imo.
