Got local footy commitments and still not moving well after illness , so watching FF
Sen are very lucky they have Kane and dare I say it Kingy. It’s top flight radio - I don’t get the picture that they are mates outside of the studio but have fantastic chemistry.
Tuesday to Thursday AM I usually have a podcast on but if I do want to listen to the radio it’s on 3AW, KIIS or MMM.
Monday and Friday AM absolutely on SEN locked and loaded - Kane maybe a sensationalist but the training hours he put in has absolutely paid off he is one of the best ex football radio presenters.
Whately I don’t care for - never have never will - feel like every moment he is on air calling or hosting is about the advancement of himself.
Garry is ok; his chemistry with Tim is pretty good but not like it was with JB and the guys on the RUB - not the same show so I’ll give him a pass.
Have listened to about 20 minutes in total of Andy Maher and Gazey over the years - Maher is waaay waay to much on the pleasing every single group parade. In saying that, that timeslot is always going to be a struggle in the ratings when you’re going against a pretty much a pure sport (not saying it’s in depth analysis but it is very much AFL) and music show on MMM at the same time with bigger names and have been on air together for like 16 years! You can say what you like about JB & Billy but they know their audience unbelievably well, JB is one of the best radio hosts in the country and Billy for all his frothy nonsense is a shrewd operator.
Lucky for Hutchy, actually probably not lucky knowing Hutchy, that he has Kane locked otherwise the line up would be pretty shit

1. There used to be a show with Rita from the HS, Harf and someone else. It had pretty good chemistry does anyone remember the third host?
2. There used to be an NFL show back 15-16 years ago with an Aussie bloke speaking to a guy from the US. Who were they? And is that show still on?

Agree with basically all of what you said. Kane & Kingy together are the best thing on SEN. When paired with others, they each work well with whoever might be co-hosting, but together they're the best show on SEN. Maybe one of the reasons is that they're only in that format 2 mornings a week, and they don't get diluted and stale like some of the other shows.

Once a week is enough for me to keep it feeling fresh - Friday is a better fit for me.
SEN under Hutchy has a habit of taking popular segments/ideas and over-exposing them.

The quality of the show is questionable but I like the idea of the Sunday morning show with Ox and Harty.
Live radio is always better than replays and no other station is talking AFL or other sport that early on a Sunday.
