Autopsy 11 point loss to North

One of the best coaches in the game who continues to make poor team selections. We've been shit for about 3 months and so has Ross Lyon's coaching.
Mzungu has played two poor games in a row, today made it 3. Why continue playing him? de Boer didn't do anything wrong today, but hes not an impact sub player, yet he continues being used in that role. We have very little versatility, when we were winning earlier, he should of played Sheridan/Sutcliffe/Duffield/Walters/Spurr in the middle, it mixes it up, Hawthorn know how to do it. Player management has been poor, Sandilands has played every game and that's been highly unnecessary.

The year is a write off now, ive been one of the optimistic people on this forum but we just lose to norf and they are f%@king trash.
I don't know what happened between round 8 and 9 but we never could recapture that form and now we are going to pay for it.
Will finish second and lose to hawks in the first week then if we draw the tigers we are out in straight sets.

Why the hell didn't we pick Taberner? I know he's not exactly a power forward but at least it's somebody to bloody kick to instead of Walters on Firrito

Very very very sloppy. From a team that promised so much in the first half of the season, this is very disappointing. Could crucify a few of our players.

I think A Pearce should be dropped to rest. Has had 2 fairly bad games in a row and I feel like he might be cooked at the moment.
He's gonna be an absolute star, no doubt about it, but I think he needs a rest at least for a week. 2 tops.

Skills were average. What has happened to our team since the early rounds of this year ???
I for one am highly surprised that when you pick unskilled players their skills don't hold up under pressure...and we should continue to pick them so I can again express this surprise.
I look forward to Ross sitting in the presser talking about stats and shit and how we had "plenty of the ball, and inside 50 this and opportunity that" but we just slaughtered the ball and all credit to our opposition....

Nah, we're not going to win this year, our players are all shitting themselves at the thought of playing finals and ******* it up, that they're just fricking ******* it up. I hate supporting this team sometimes, I really do.
We have a lot of passengers and a lot of structural issues.
- Fwd line obviously our biggest issue but it's also delivery and poor skills.
- So many players not getting their hands on the ball. Mzungu 10 poss, Crozier 7 poss, Sheridan 10, Pearce 12, Ibbo 13, Subes 11. These guys should be up in the 15-20 range, sharing the load with the mids.
- Structurally, how do we always leave oppositions with so many free outside the contest? It's been happening for weeks.
- Not defending as well as we were. Again, it's in the midfield the problems are starting.
- Obviously Blakely is injured now but in what world would Brady Grey, Ed Langdon or Lachie Weller not offer more than De Boer as a sub or Mzungu in all facets of the game? I feel in a way that the team is stale. No new blood, nobody coming in and really taking the game on with energy and excitement. Just limited players plodding and going through the motions. It's not working anymore.

Don't understand how, Mzungu keeps getting a game.
Skill errors and goal kicking needs an overhaul, start again, cannot be the number one team and be dishing up that s***.
