Bomberboyokay what order are you watching all of Star Trek in? I know there’s a few different methods. I’m currently doing the same, having gotten into it through the JJ-verse. So far I’ve negotiated: TOS TAS Movies 1-6 And I’m currently in the last season of TNG.

There's definitely a few episodes which were a real slog to get through. The worst for me by far was the Alternative Factor in season 1.

Want to love this show, but it hasn't got me yet. Too many annoying little things in the first two episodes. Found the two leads acting left a lot to be desired. Didn't really like the Michael (what's up with that name for a girl, also?) actor in the Walking Dead, and I don't really like her yet...

Alternative factor was painful to sit through. Easily the worst episode of the series.

Yep, there's a few dull episodes early on. Balance of Terror is great though, it's like a submarine battle in space. It was a bit of a slog getting through the whole series, but I found that I didn't notice the dated effects and corny dialogue by the end of it.

Have almost finished TOS now. Season 3 really takes a dive in quality. Looking forward to seeing the movies next, having not seen any of them before.

Not sure. You'd think if you're hardcore enough of a fan to know who Thrawn is, you're probably already watching Rebels.

Have now finished season 1. Can see why 'The City on the Edge of Forever' is a popular episode - it's one of the better crafted episodes. I've heard season 2 is hit and miss and then it drops away in season 3. Is that a fair call?

After enjoying the reboot movie series and having seen Beyond lately, I decided to have another crack at watching the original series. Once you get the past the fact that it's clearly aged poorly from a technical standpoint, the actual stories are pretty good. I can see why people got into it...

Battlestar Galactica. Incredible show with so many different plot elements and intriguing stories. Discovered it on blu ray/dvd and raced through it.
