No love for Zondor? I reckon that campaigner goes about 10 to 1 negative to positive on here.
Get it right arse wipe. It’s a 69 to 1 negative to positive ratio. Bottom 2 for the last 5 years. Worst 100 game stretch of any team ever in the AFL / VFL. Plenty of imbecilic list management decisions that have resulted in our current predicament. Not to much to be positive about Ironstein. :stern look

I've just had the pleasure of a little bit of back and forth with him and you're 100% right; the King is dead, long live the King.
Still waiting on that 2nd Bullshit Story that has been posted on BigFooty you were going to regale us with Mr I have first hand information. :stern look

I think there's loads to be positive about with the talent on our list with some of the best young players I have ever seen run out for North. More negative than positive abounds, and I reckon my posting during this period would reflect that too, but you do need to try and look at what is going well and what can go well. Ignoring that is quite miserable for you and the people your share your views with.

"Best young players I have ever seen"????? How old are you? 12?

Every club thinks they have great young talent. We thought we had great young talent when this got posted. Only 1 out of that 9 went on to play sustained, quality football at Arden St - LDU

He’ll be a slower burn until he gets his body up to standards, but I spoke to a few blokes down at the Falcons who believe he absolutely deserved to be picked up.

They said he has an unquestionable character, real student of the game and has fantastic training standards.

Also said that while he isn’t the best athlete he was in the top 2-3 kicks/decision makers with ball in hand, which will hold him in good stead at AFL level.

No doubt I’ve focused on what has gone wrong but that’s because we have “Finished Bottom 2 for the last 5 years!”. Sure we have assembled a list of young talent but only time will tell if they are any good. See Old Mate Clokey’s post above. Unlike you young Scallywag we have lived a life. We know what success looks like and what failure looks like. Watch some footage of our team in the 90’s to see what a good team requires. Guns like Carey. Match Winners like McKernan. Abraham, Pike, Pickett, King, Schwass, Allison with Pace and Skill that are Line Breakers. I could go on and on. What we currently have is a young star in the making in Sheezel. An up and coming line breaking talent in McKercher. Larkey who is one of the best forwards in the Comp. A solid ruck in Xerri. LDU who has great evasive skill but a poor kick. Wardlaw with a manic desperation to win the ball and to defend but also sloppy by foot. Chom who could be anything but it’s only potential at this point. The Bull who can be a match winner but rarely shows it. I could go on and on about the current list where there is promise but that’s all it is. I’m not miserable. I’m angry that our club is where it is at. There is a difference. This Rawling rebuild has been a disgrace littered with brain dead decisions. The truth is staring you in the face. :stern look

Agree with all of this, except LDU being a poor kick.

He’s slightly above average, but the rest of his game is elite.

Fair Enough. I think LDUs delivery inside 50 in particular is poor TPA. That and his ability to kick goals. No doubt he is elite in winning the football and evading his opponents. Plus he can burst from the pack. Just think he turns it over a little too much for my liking. But he ain’t on his Pat Malone. :stern look

No doubt, has his fair share of turnovers.

Also hits some superb kicks to advantage after making half the opposition midfield look third rate.

His main issue is he’s the only bloke we have in there that has the size and skills to make shit happen.

Sheezel and Wardlaw are promising, but have a fair way to go to match what LDU brings.

I thought he was described as being able to “run all day”?

I am sharing these thoughts and words as have been on my mind for awhile now.
I feel now is an appropriate time.

The past is where it belongs………..behind us.

As parents, our choices, challenges, and lessons have shaped us, but they are ours to own and grow from. They do not define our children or their journeys. They are on their own life path.

My son, River, is stepping into an incredible chapter of his life with the North Melbourne Kangaroos.

This is his journey, his dreams, his challenges, his triumphs.

Let’s support and celebrate the future he is building for himself, free from the shadows of the past.

Life is about learning, growing, and supporting each other to find joy and happiness.

The future is full of possibilities, and we all deserve to move forward with hope and positivity.
