Realistically down to the Eagles and the only two clubs with the draft picks that could satisfy the Eagles for a contracted Harley Reid, Essendon and Richmond.

It depends on the list profile of where the trading team is at.

For Hawthorn, it would be the cherry on top of the cake.

For Essendon, trading that much when you don’t have the list would be stupendously idiotic.

Yeah they did and they shouldn't have kept 3 picks in an unprecedented year where draftees were largely untested. Also, 2020 was a pretty bad draft in general.

It's a risk, but sending three 1st round picks for a kid who's showing absolutely nothing is a worse risk IMO

I'd be taking the picks to the draft if I were Rosa. Reid ain't fixing our problems on his own.
While he is currently in contract, WC hold the cards. They will demand overs and rightfully so.
An out of contract Reid next year, the situation maybe different, not sure WC would get anywhere near what they could this year. (Depending on Reid's form)
Big decision for WC as well, clearly won't stay there. Hawks would be a good option for him.

You are 100% correct and I for one as a long term Hawthorn member hope we have nothing to do with him.

He has all the hallmarks of a kid who pushed everyone around at junior level but now he can’t to it in the big time he has no coping mechanism. His fitness levels are not much better than mine and he uses up most of that energy fighting anyone who dares to tackle him. I can guarantee his attitude and body language would be wearing very thin on a few of his teammates that at least give maximum effort.

No way would I want the Hawks to shell out the draft capital or the money on a guy who is good for about 12 possessions a game that are canceled out by the half a dozen free kicks he gives away, because someone looked at him.
