Can we get him in the team this week? He would be our starting small forward. He looks good. Fast and clean.

Odd set shot run up and field kicking has 0 penetration. Same as last clip. Plenty to work on
Not being funny, but the mark on the wing / wheel around and kick long into the forward line wasn’t penetrating?

If he played for the Dogs after we passed over him tiger_muff would jizz his pants

Good work with the father son highlight reels. We all need something to hang hope on in these next few dark years in the wilderness. The Kellaways were favourites who played their arses off and were hard as cats heads and always gave 100%, also I believe Ben/ Nick Holland's sister is the Mum so hopefully it runs in the genes. Always felt sorry for blokes like Brian Leys who had to suffer through that painful era especially him regularly copping the opposition's primo forwards who regularly dined out on our carcass back then. He must've been late to fatherhood but kudos to him for having 3 boys lol. Leys was a big unit so I'm tipping his boys have some more growing left. Besides Disco Roach, usually the sons end up as tall if not towering their old man these days.

I like what I see in Leys, doesn't mind running, linking up and can take a mark. Some contested as well. Looks like he doesn't mind getting tackled which is a positive in young players.

Field kicking may need work but he kicked 2 goals so it's promising. Someone above mentioned lack of penetration, sorry disagree, he had plenty of long kicks in that clip, a few probably had too much carry as they went over the heads.

Will be worth a watch as the season goes on, exciting that he will also have next year aswell. If he has a negative it's finishing but he gives us hope.

Leys looks a real prospect. Perpetual motion machine accumulating outside mid with good pace and neat skills. We need a couple of those.

Biggest reason why I wasn't upset at missing Jagga. Leys plays similarly (desn't get as much ball, but is more damaging with it) and will be cheaper.

Just need these guys to become good role players.

If Kellaway can be a more defensive type accumulator mid so that Smillie, Lalor, Hotton & whoever else we take in next 2 drafts can do their thing.

Armstrong a rebounding small defender.

Leys the accumulator mid/half forward.

Daffy I don't know anything about tbh lol.

We will be well on our way from there, just need to play the waiting game for the stars to develop.

Leys looks a good sort. Continually moves, clean hands, nice skills, likes a goal, good mark, likes the physical stuff. Also playing off HFF not so much opportunity. Will be good to see him next year stepping it up to another level.

Also is honest and open. He admitted on a post on Facebook that he needed to improve his defensive work and would be working on that this year.
