So surprisingly enough Yakker , the best most renowned fishing spot in suburban Sweet is very close to Mt Buller. The River Sweet's headwaters are formed in the 100 Ebiacres estate, part of Mt Buller suburb. The river is little more than a stream at this point flowing along the border between Mt Buller and Subiaco.

There is a footbridge between the two suburbs off Wattle Drive, and just over on the Subiaco side is a shack with a small seating spot out front. It's from here that many a line has been cast into those upstream waters of the river. It's a popular spot for many, I've personally spent a bit of time there myself.

The path which includes the footbridge is known as Muttweed Walk.

In cast talk (kindah meaning the other side of the 4th wall - it's a term I imported from my experiences obsessed with Disneyland Anaheim): Minecraft includes a fishing activity which can gain you food in the form of salmon or cod, and sometimes "loot" & "junk" of varying usefulness through a fishing mechanism. Within the Sweet municipal boundary, I have used this spot on Muttweed Walk more often for this activity, than any other.
