Go to your account on the top right where your picture is there, click on it and hit ‘preferences’ and you’ll see the option to turn tipping notifications off about halfway down.

Also, if you are in a tipping comp and do not want alerts from comments, you can Unwatch the comp but still play.

Bookmark the thread URLs.

Or make friends with them.

Or talk to mods and if they are widely ignored users who start important threads, they can re-assign the threads to themselves.

I'm now constantly getting a banner ad, two side page ads, a bottom page pop-up and ads in between posts every five or six posts. This is substantially more than we've had in the past.

What's worse is they're often the same ad, creating this garish, repetitive swarm of content.
