I’m in the Vlossy camp too.. he had some ripper’s throughout the season but was very consistent. I don’t recall him having a bad game TBH.I think Floss may win it by 1-2 votes...
He may poll where it was unexpected...
So have they got a leader board or do we have to pay to see the votes ?

Haven’t heard the speech but is it true he criticised the leaving players for a lack of loyalty (implied if not direct stated)?Great speech, very honest and direct
Also glad he mentioned Broad
He mainly praised Broad's loyaltyHaven’t heard the speech but is it true he criticised the leaving players for a lack of loyalty (implied if not direct stated)?
If so it was a very classless, not to mention an incredibly damaging and stupid thing to do because in trade negotiations it is vital that the players being held to their contracts and continue to play for the club is a real possibility. Comments such as are being reported effectively undermine our position at the trade table.
And that is not even taking into account that the players being criticised are and will always be legends of the club.
No is it taking into account that them leaving is likely the thing that sets us up for a successful future.
If the reported comments are true the bloke is a clown and we need to go to the preseason draft for a new president.
Mate watch it for yourself before making comment.Haven’t heard the speech but is it true he criticised the leaving players for a lack of loyalty (implied if not direct stated)?

I don’t get thisHis speech was great didn’t say names went in a circle a bit on purpose, but everyone knew what it was about. About time the club changed the narrative from saying we're happy to get players to other clubs.
I’ve been and watched it now, and he said exactly what it was being reported that he’d said, so I’m not 100% why you thought that I needed sit through personally before commenting.Mate watch it for yourself before making comment.

But anyway, I don’t disagree with the fact that Broad is a good and loyal servant of the club.
But singling Broad out for praise for ignoring more lucrative offers from other clubs can’t be seen as anything other than a veiled criticism of the the players who have chosen to leave, and including in the speech showed very poor judgement by O’Rouke for reasons I’ve outlined above.
Now, you can engage with the points I’ve raised, or you can tell me to go and watch another video if you’ve got nothing of substance to add to the conversation.
I get thisHe mainly praised Broad's loyalty
To some on here the club can do no wrong , yet here we areI get this
But he almost certainly was using that praise for Broad as a criticism of the four players who are leaving
At the very minimum he should have known that was exactly how it would be interpreted
On the contrary there are plenty here that say the club can do no right so here we areTo some on here the club can do no wrong , yet here we are

I’m not either but I think we’ve been pretty well run and professional over the fast few years, especially compared to some of the other clubs (Adelaide, Essendon etc.) . . .On the contrary there are plenty here that say the club can do no right so here we are
Some see it as a blunder some see it as a line in the sand moment. I liked it. Loyalty runs both ways.I’m not either but I think we’ve been pretty well run and professional over the fast few years, especially compared to some of the other clubs (Adelaide, Essendon etc.) . . .
. . . but this self-indulgent blunder by the new president is a very worrying sign for the future, and not many seem concerned by it.
I can respect an opposing point of viewSome see it as a blunder some see it as a line in the sand moment. I liked it. Loyalty runs both ways.
