Hope it doesn't get framed as a mental health problem to cover up poor behaviour.
Hope he’s not going through serious mental health challenges, combined with the passing of the man who raised him, resulting in poor behavioural outcomes that could impact his long term health and prospects.

Will be kept in WAFL til Round 14. Has to do behavioural classes and the like

Seems remorseful and understanding he is blowing his AFL career given he admitted it so hopefully lesson learnt.

Dont think we would be holding on too desperately if he doesnt turn it around either. Would be a easy cut

WC players still think doing a runner and having the club clean it up is the way to deal with this sort of stuff. A fine tradition, but one from a bygone era.

He just attended the funeral of his grandfather who someone mentioned raised him.

Would be one of the saddest days of anyone's life.

And later that night hit a pole driving back alone.

No other cars or people involved.

Not sure why people are questioning if there is more to it or linking it to Eagles players actions from a decade ago.

Aren’t you from the state where letting campaigners off scott-free so they are free to commit a worse, more heinous crime is enshrined in the constitution?
Yes, and why they keep being elected back into government is beyond me.

Haha, as if it's not going on over there. We just don't care enough to take the time to look it up.

So….stone cold sober, no substance influence, he drove into a pole…..and then ran away.

Ben Cousins would be clapping…from his jail cell.

C’maaan guys…seriously?

Hard to imagine him not being full of wee wee.

Even the Judge intimated there was more to it.
But because he left the scene, nothing could be proved.

Lucky boy.

Recall Buddy taking out 6 parked cars in a residential street one night.

Cops turned up and was all good. No alcohol or drugs involved allegedly.

So see it does happen. ;)

Come On Please GIF by NBA

Dane Swan just made the Hall of Fame. And he did everything Cousins did in the same era.......except he played for Collingwood.;):thumbsdown:

He even admitted as such in his book.

In proper states if you flee they charge you with the maximum possible, not go "oh darn he outsmarted us !!".

I'm not sure, I think they have ""leaving the scene of an accident" here but I think it's depends on the severity.
In other words, if there's another car involved or someone gets hurt.
