Softest team to represent PA I've ever seen. Been following Port since 1970. When you are allowed to be soft with no consequences over an extended period then that's what you'll get.

Burton is the prime example you punish that shit and if he doesn't correct it he stays in the SANFL, we can't even set standards and examples to the squad.

I'm intrigued as to what the fabled "succession plan" is going to yield. I don't see our midfield grabbing games by the horns (pun intended) when they're there to be won. If we continue with our policy of nepotism, we're never going to see any new ideas or methods, regardless of who's in Donuts' chair.

Succession plan sucks. Sick of the way our club is run. Protectionism at its best.

Not surprised at all. Tipped Carlton by 13, what was I thinking. Didn't bother turning up coz my team didn't bother turning up for the Crows and 3/4s of the Saints game. Totally disinterested atm coz I've seen the same shit for years.

Apart from the Geelong game I don't think I've watched 4 quarters of football this season.

Watching a bad movie once is annoying and a waste of time. Watching the same bad movie 12 times is just ridiculous.

Saints, WC, Richmond, Norf, Freo, Ess, Haw..

Another year where we ski against the bottom teams and get flogged against any team not made up of duds.

Also when you switch sides you have to move it fast, we kick backwards, that person holds onto it for 10, they go sideways and they hold for 10. Carlton didn't have lazy forwards they followed their players, and then we were in same position as we started except carlton had blocked every avenue down the ground. Rags was a big culprit for going sideways/backwards

Curnows effort last night was superb at both ends of the ground. He wanted to win that game badly. Our forwards didn't.

Absolutely no consequences for poor performance at this club and they let no one outside in to offer a different point of view.uUntil that changes we get no changes.

Dunstall, King others pointing out flaws we have seen for a long long time...

No to the club it's just all outside noise.

I keep going because of my boys as it is something we do together and I want that to continue and we sit near a really good bunch of people. Not for the football not for my club.

I try to look at things from other points of view where I can. Walk a mile and that sort of thing.

Weirdly I was less frustrated for the first three quarters than I had been in a long time. It seemed we were trying to kick to leads and although we usually had poor skills particularly one handball to many, and were pretty poor one v one I thought you know this is actually slightly better to watch. Didn't think we ever got on top though.

In 2001-4 I knew that our best was good enough to beat any team in any day.

I walked away from last night's game thinking this is where this team is at. It ain't going anywhere when it counts. Just not good enough. Much as I want it not to be it's where the team is.

So much less than the sum of its parts.

That being said where to from here?.

Turn over the list, been done, get the missing piece, been done.

How can the club not see objectively there is only one course of action to move forward and upward

This is the official, internal directive. It's a problem with the players. The club is annoyed about not having access to players of a higher calibre in VFL, the club wants a reserves side.

After 10 years where almost everything has changed over: new facilities, new home ground, new list, new line coaches - there's still yet another missing piece which means that Hinkley isn't the problem.

Always. Non stop excuses. Total loser mentality throughout the club.

I concur with all the above but in fairness, SPP is like the khan of mongrel, Rioli is well versed and both are on the pine. Butters is all mongrel, Bergman has it, the dodgy Italian concreter (Lachie J) screeds it, Darce bleeds it, Lord is going to be betrayed then crucified for it, The Great Visentini will be known for it, we got mongrel, but the drivers aren’t on the deck. Dixon is getting the ‘Ringling Circus’ retirement plan for it. We also just had to put to the boneyard Jonas and Lycett.
I do believe we need more mongrel but it ain’t happening without tutelage.

Can we get Sam Mitchell over for a hard training session after his teams marshmallow performance. Hawthorn recovered okay after they whacked each other. Holidays should be on hold and back to the track fellas

One positive is Mead continues his good run of form, actually looks like he gives a damn out there. Weaved his way through traffic with some nice sidesteps and wasnt afraid to go when it was his turn. One player i saw still busting his gut in the last no matter how much we were down by

This X Plenty, what was once a great club has been run by an ego tripping boof headed clown who would know as much about football as the average person knows about brain surgery for so long that the original reasons for its existence have disappeared into the wild blue yonder, and like yourself I wouldn't have thought it was possible to actually `hate' the chief clown Koch, and his bozo mate Hinkley as much as I do.

This is probably stating the obvious but I can’t ever recall a Port side singularly and collectively getting away with what this current guise does. It’s mind blowing that repeat offenders are doing the same thing consistently. It’s permeated the whole side.

We are missing McKenzie badly. He was our best one on one defender & a very good cover defender. A real team player, strong mentally & physically.

This is the reason why our defence has actually got worse despite targeted acquisitions. We got rid of our best pure defender.
