Jumper number games numbers now updated to the end of 2021

sort of

I hope

AFL Tables, where I source my game numbers from (and is a good stats source in general) had Sam Reid playing in the #20 in rounds 1, 2 & 5.

I don’t know how to confirm this and find it rather weird, so at present have given all 3 games to his usual #50 - but if someone can enlighten me as to what happened I can always make an adjustment.

other than that…

#11 continues to be cursed
#10 got it‘s 5th owner putting it behind only the #11 in terms of numbers of owners (but Dev ensured it has plenty of game time)
#45 was reactivated mid-year after a 6 year ownership absence

Raise it with him (I normally get my stats from there too).

AFL definitely has him in #50, and I think any number change would've been notable.

Probably just a typo in his database.

First-round draftee Ollie Hannaford will begin his AFL career in the number 13 jumper left vacant by Isaac Cumming.

Fellow Victorian Harrison Oliver will take on the number 19 for his debut AFL season, most recently worn by inaugural GIANT Nick Haynes.

West Australian Cody Angove, the club’s third first-round pick of the draft, will pull on jumper number 29 at the GIANTS, a number most recently belonging to Phoenix Gothard who is changing his number for his second season.

Pick 36 Jack Ough will wear the number 28 for the GIANTS, a number previously worn by young gun Harvey Thomas who will don a new number in 2025 following his brilliant debut season.

Meanwhile, GIANTS Academy duo Logan Smith and Josaia Delana will wear numbers 36 and 38 respectively in their debut AFL seasons.

One of the most treasured jumpers in GIANTS history will be passed onto the next generation in 2025, with GIANTS legend Phil Davis’ number one jumper to be given to young gun Harvey Thomas.

Phoenix Gothard has also swapped to the #11 jumper.
