Ross Noble is by far my favourite comedian. His plan to deal with Isis from when I saw him at the Fringe Festival in April was the funniest thing I had ever heard.

A not well known guy, Steven J Whiteley. Seen him a few times now and he never fails to get great laughs. Calls himself the bogan from logan, and is very 18+.

I've found that a lot of aussie comedians now days have just copied the style of Jim Jefferies and Alex Williamson.
All these "aussie guy describes (insert topic)" that you see on Facebook are often exactly the same thing.

George Carlin. I have all his HBO specials on DVD and most of them on CD. He makes me laugh more than anyone else I've ever seen or heard. As thought provoking as he is funny. Genius.

George Carlin (only his early and late stuff - middle career was bad kind of sellout material)

Jimmy Carr (gets repetitive)
Joe Rogan (not a natural stand-up but has some golden moments)
Louis CK (schtick is starting to get repetitive - I'm old, I'm fat, I'm a father)

Makes you appreciate the craft. Setting stuff up from way out so it all comes together later.

James Acaster "repertoire" on netflix was fantastic in a similar way. Hilarious callbacks.
