Just found some stat errors with finalsiren.com or the AFL Website.

(FinalSiren + StatsRLeague Website says: 203 - 178)

Handballs:
(AFL Website says: 167 - 185)
(FinalSiren + StatsRLeague Website says: 167 - 196)

Disposals:
(AFL Website says: 370 - 356)
(FinalSiren + StatsRLeague Website says: 370 - 374)

Marks:
(AFL Website Says: 91 - 64)

Same with Tackles and other stats with that match.

AFL = http://www.afl.com.au/MatchCenter/t...sonid=82&roundid=798&fixtureid=5643&display=3

FinalSiren= http://finalsiren.com/MatchDetails....a91ae5eb83530750a30c888ce&Sort=PlayerName Asc

StatsRLeague: http://www.afl.com.au/MatchCenter/t...sonid=82&roundid=798&fixtureid=5643&display=3

Herald Sun: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/super-scoreboard?match_id=10311201

Starting to think the AFL is the worst site for stats now.

I had a look and the AFL site and Footywire both have the same as AFL Tables and Final Siren

203 Kicks 178
167 Handballs 196
370 Disposals 374
91 Marks 68

All I believe, come from the same source, Champion Data.

(Final Siren also has 68 Marks for WB.)

There is something amiss in your methodology.

Are you looking at the same match in all?

Final Siren sometimes revises its figures after they are first posted - an extra tackle or two is commonly added, or taken from one player and given to another. Can only assume this is a result of CD revising its numbers post-game.

QFT. I've had a lots of appreciative messages over the years, it really is instrumental in keeping things going.

And if I may return the favour, the amount of nonsense/crap feedback I've got has been virtually non-existent - it's pretty much all been constructive. Which, given amount of dropkicks that roam the internet, is testament to the quality mindset of statoholics :thumbsu:

I use finalsiren every week and love it. Always use it to help with my captain selections. Would be devastated if it were discontinued.

Keep up the good work!

+1 for using it every week. I have it open with fanfooty constantly and love the fact it's generally updated within 2 minutes of the final siren (pun intended).

Yeah, 100% sure I was looking at the same match. I'll see later if the site has changed it or not.
I think it may be different with the whole tackle count for the season as well.
Anyhow, I posted the links on where I found the match statistics.
Note: Some statistics for that game may have changed since I last looked.

Geelong lose in the Geelong and everything goes bonkers.

Is this finally the end for www.finalsiren.com?

Interesting that this year the domain was renewed for only 12 months.

I guess by March next year we'll know for sure if the site is finished.

You bet it would be a sad day. :(

If I have to use the AFL Website I'll need to set aside an extra 2 or 3 hours a week to find the same info. That's if it's there at all.

Footywire is a good replacement, if you don't use that mate, rather than using the AFL website. ;)

This appears to be a obsolete interface - 2009 Game Day? If you look at the STK v WB game, you'll see the Dogs marking total is given as 64, but if you add up the individual tallies, it comes out as 68. Borne out by the proper page

Weird as. The afl site has to pick up the pace.
Hopefully finalsiren.com doesn't actually end. :(
