Look at some Google results and you get a full page of Reddit threads before you get something useful.

This has been Murdoch's business model for a long time - they don't own obscure bottom feeding s**t rags for nothing.

• Some random s**t rag makes up a story.
• Talk show mentions it.
• More reputable publication(s) reports on it.
• More talk show attention.
• Soon we have created a brand new issue out of nothing.

Everything they do is about narrative creation and control. And media concentration in Australia means that eventually they completely control all media narrative including the ABC (particularly with the number of plants currently in the ABC).
