I just had a look at the first qtr replay.
I think they are playing a weaker team but the boys looked good.
RCD better, Stack switched on, Banks looked good and Ryan as well as Biggy amongst others

At the Richmond huddle there was a bloke who looked a bit like Peter Filandia doing alot of talking to players.

Has had a fair few games where the weather and grounds have been a nightmare for a fwd.
I think he will be a very nice player at afl level.

Yeah and he’s been playing a fair bit as the main forward, he’s really only a 3rd tall. Looks better when he’s got Ryan down there permanently.
I reckon he still has a bit of work to do before he plays AFL. Particularly at ground level (below the knees)

What's the go with Austin Johnson? Haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. Are we hiding him for the draft?
Haha. He averages 11.7 disposals and had one good game and in typical bigfooty fashion posters thought he was the second coming and would walk into our best 22. Reality is he is a role player at VFL level who isn't close to being good enough for AFL.

Riley Collier-Dawkins (30 disposals, 23 contested possessions, 12 clearances, five inside-50s)
"Had a very good game on the weekend with 12 clearances and a huge 23 contested possessions. He was dominant, particularly from centre bounce, he burst clear on a number of occasions and gave our forwards first use."
Jake Aarts (29 disposals, five tackles, one goal)
"Once again, Jake was outstanding for us, he's been in terrific form lately. He worked up and down the ground playing mainly as a forward, but his work-rate and his ability to win contested ball really did stand out."
Thomson Dow (23 disposals, nine clearances, one goal)
"Thomson once again looked dynamic in-and-around stoppage. He won nine clearances including seven from centre bounce. He teamed up with Riley really well and was able to give us midfield ascendancy."

"The most pleasing aspect of his game was the fact that he started slowly and it didn't affect the remainder of his game, which was outstanding. He took a number of intercept marks and backed himself in the air, which was really pleasing."

He was outstanding on the weekend, he took three contested marks, hit the scoreboard heavily and his hands were extremely strong. "He had another solid game, he's been in terrific form this season. He's pretty reliable down back, he gets involved in a lot of our offensive chains, but he's also pretty ruthless in defence and that's what we love about him."

I think it's safe to say that Tom Brown's form this year has been a big disappointment

Inconsistent more than anything
Had some really big games but others where he has fallen right off
Still seems to be finding his feet in our system
