if thats a rule that you have to be attended to by a trainer then they should scrap it. you cant have umps forcing players with injuries to move while they wait for a trainer to get out to them. not good enough afl.

Duty of Care? More like the Geneva Convention! Poor Charlie.

I guess enough players fake injuries to waste time etc and the umps become a bit cynical.

Libba was on the ground bleeding looking half concussed in the last couple of minutes yesterday and the umpires took no interest

The Libba one was pretty bad as well. He is not one to fake being hurt either.
The ump was right there as well.

The umpire making him move forward was the kicker for me. Like the bloke can barely stand and is behind the mark, not impeding play in any way. Then you make him hop forward.
