Yes to both, and they are the three highest scores conceded by India in the 2010s, but not what I am looking for. There's a specific connection.

I picked the side of Australian players below with some certain criteria in mind. Can anybody tell me what they are?

Bruce Laird
Rick Darling
Cameron Bancroft
Len Darling
Alan Fairfax
Tom Veivers
William Bruce
Don Tallon (+)
Wayne Clark
Ernie McCormick
12th - Alick Bannerman

Bastmen never scored a ton, bowlers never took a 5 for?
Pretty much! Minimum 10 Tests, none of the players have scored 100 or taken a 5 wicket haul during their Test careers.

Some really interesting stories about the players in the side, as well as about the 20 odd who missed out. Most were older wicketkeepers, unsurprisingly.

I saw Bruce Laird make a century in the SuperTests against the might of the West Indies pace attack.
That pace attack probably considered him the toughest opener they bowled to.

I personally seen both Steve Smith's play for Australia.
The first one should have only played ODI cricket but we got desperate in mid 80's and tried to turn him into a Test cricketer, probably because half a dozen decent batting options went on Rebel tours to South Africa so the batting cupboard was empty at the time.

Curious, I know England has had every nationality under the sun play Tests for them but, how many have played for Australia.
I realize it's not an easy task. I don't know the answer , sorry.
